We booked this separately from the island tour we were on and before we arrived in Sri Lanka. Communication was first class and we were collected from our hotel for a small charge. The ethos behind Back of Beyond, who run the night walks, is excellent, and they also educate school children from the area and train local guides. After a welcome drink at the lovely cafe, we received an excellent briefing before going on the walk, where we were delighted to spot 4 Slender Loris. While we were staying in the area we did another nocturnal Loris walk with a different provider and it wasn’t a patch on this one. Overall this was excellent value, top service and a very worthy cause, 100% recommended!

This was an absolutely amazing afternoon out. The guides were really patient and didn’t make the trip feel rushed at all. They took the time to make sure we got what we wanted from the afternoon and it was clear that our experience mattered to them. The variety of wildlife was wonderful and we were able to hear interesting facts about lots of the animals from the tour guides. There were loads of photo opportunities and the baby elephants were adorable.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Communications good throughout on the day and before. Guide was very polite and informative. Great English. Safari itself had lots of animals/birds so very happy overall. I'd recommend the 1300 as it's cooler for you and the animals!


