I usually use a physical SIM card when traveling, but this time I was in a rush and didn't have time to buy one, so I tried using an eSIM for the first time. The trip went well. Car was nice, driver was very helpful, always communicating with us in English through wechat. He even managed to warn us about going a little early in order to get the tickets for the Hanging temple.
