Toured in a small van to private farm on Otago Peninsula. Our guide Paula was friendly and kind and knows everything about penguins! We visited the fur seal colony and saw sea lions on the beach. Also lots of sheep and lambs, and Paula pointed out the native birds. The landscape is stunningly beautiful. We had a great time.★

Fantastic experience!! Guides were friendly, animated and very very knowledgeable about the local area, culture and wildlife. Not overcrowded when we went with plenty of space on the viewing deck for people to move around and get a good look at and photograph the penguins. Saw 40+ penguins come in over an hour and their antics are so cute and funny. Brilliant breeding and environmental management program while still allowing very close encounters with the birds. Highly recommended for everyone young and old. Short walk down and back up the steps to the viewing area from the clifftop.★

We did a garden and Castle tour with added high tea. Everything was exceptional including the weather. The gardens are large and beautifully tended, and with good walking paths. The castle was beautiful and obviously being restored with a passion. However a person with walking difficulties may find the stairs and steps challenging. The high tea was a treat and worth the cost.★

Had a beautiful tour of the Otago peninsula followed by the incredible experience seeing Kororā/Little blue penguins coming in from the sea for the night. They are so cute and you get to see them really close from the platform. It was our first time seeing penguins in the wild and it was a real bucket list experience. Our guide Dani was fantastic, we learnt loads about the penguins and other local wildlife★
