Wanting to see the area around Narita / Sawara more with limited time available we booked a day tour with Tokyo Grand Tours. Our driver Malek kept us updated on his arrival time which was appreciated. Off we went for what was a memorable day. We visited the Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple. It is beautiful and has wonderful gardens. We also visited the historic district of Sawara - Little Edo. Lunch at one of the restaurants along the canal was lovely. This area is fascinating and the buildings really interesting. Icecream is also very popular. With it being Golden Week we enjoyed seeing everyone out and about. We then visited Katori Jingu Shrine. This is in a peaceful forest setting. It was a lovely cool environment - a perfect place for reflection. Finally we went to Suigo Sawara Ayame Park. We were out of season for the iris however the wisteria was beautiful. Its sweet scent will stay with me forever. It was a perfect day. Thank you Malek

So, honestly - the price seems a lot at first BUT, if you are ever in Tokyo, no matter if a real car guy / girl or not you should do this activity. The feeling of being straight in a movie or atleast the shoot of one is incredible, the adrenaline you get when riding in a group of cars, even the smell of gasoline - it was goosebumps pure and gave me and my friend something that we didn‘t know was needed. In the end, these Four Hours were one or the best ones I‘ve had in Tokyo and would even consider booking again in the future just to get this thrill again. Thank you very much for such a nice Memory.

Caffery’s navigation of the city was effortless. Short photo stops, longer time in places of interest. His English was excellent and he happily answered all of our questions. As first time visitors to Tokyo, this was a big plus. When we return, we will ask for him by name.


