I used it at Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport during my layover. It took 2-3 minutes to connect after landing, which made me a little uneasy, but once it picked up a signal, it worked almost exactly like in Japan.
However, I tried tethering one of my family's iPhones, and the speed dropped significantly, so be aware of that.
But considering the price (in the double digits), it's an incredible bargain.★

I was a little skeptical because of the low price, but I had no problems connecting to the internet during my stay in Vietnam.
