Here's a photo of the shop where you can pick up your ticket. It's less than 10 meters from the actual scene depicted on the back of the 20,000 Vietnamese Dong banknote; you can't drive in by car. The ancient town has a great atmosphere.

The driver arrived 30 minutes earlier than scheduled, so I had the hotel staff come to my room to call him (I was glad I had prepared in advance). The My Son Sanctuary tour and the guide himself were good, but it was a shame that the time spent visiting the ruins was short because of the dance show, and I couldn't see everything properly. I wish they had cut the dance show and dedicated that time to visiting the ruins. Lunch was at a coconut boat tourist spot, and there was a good variety of delicious food.
