The beachfront hotels are similar to most resort hotels, but the Royal Peterman Hotel in Ubud is nestled in the mountains, featuring individual villas with swimming pools and a river that flows through the hotel for rafting – quite unique. Local prices are reasonable; a car hire for a day with a driver costs 30 USD. Overall, it was a good experience and worth returning to.
My flight was delayed by a day, and the hotel arrangement was changed to a 1+2+1 package. The fact that the two hotels were far apart wasn't clearly explained, making the trip quite inconvenient.★

The price-performance ratio was really high. Although the food wasn't very diverse, mostly basic group meals, you had to eat out if you wanted something better. The hotel itself was decent, but it was a bit far from the city center, about an hour's drive away. It's worth mentioning that I've never met such a wonderful local guide before. Her name is Yoon Young-hee, she's a native Korean and an incredibly lovely tour guide. I hope to meet her again next time I go. Hehe.Trip.com picks
