Very easy to book, the staff was very patient and willing to help us out. They do speak English. The lady working with us was kind enough to take a video of us working on the rings and she did a great job too!
Reviews: Kanazawa: traditional Japanese & sushi cooking classes

We had a a great time learning to cook Japanese cuisine. Besides just learning how to cook, you also get a wholesome experience from start and all the way to the end, thanks to the very friendly and knowledgeable chef with his translation setup. I suggest you try this experience so you can deeper enjoy japanese cuisine in the future at a restaurant or at home. :3 Thanks for an awesome experience. We will bring this knowledge and memory back with us to Norway.:)

The best part was our guide, Saki. She was sweet, young and very pleasant. We have been on several food tasting & walking tours, and this was not that. We went to 2 restaurants and tried great food options, but we were mot given history or culture about the food. Typically, we would walk & talk about the food culture & try various restaurants (more than 2 in 3 hours). We were disappointed in that aspect of the tour, not the guide.
