The road to the private lodging near Patan was narrow, but the pickup was smooth. The scheduled departure time was around 7:15 due to weather conditions. As it was January, the airport waiting lobby and bus were cold. I recommend dressing warmly for this season. Immediately after takeoff, the 8,000m-class mountain ranges came into view, which was a spectacular sight. We turned back after seeing Mount Everest. Since you're closer to the mountains on the return trip, you'll probably get a closer view if you sit by the window on the right.

Our tour guide, Hari, speaks Chinese, provides clear explanations, and is very enthusiastic and generous. The itinerary is superb, highlighting the essentials and providing a quick overview of history and culture – definitely worth the trip. The chartered car service was efficient and relaxing.
