We booked Makena Coast Charters in Maui for the 2.5-hour snorkeling tour at Molokini Crater. Matt and Lucia were excellent guides, even stopping along the way to give us a good, long look at whales breaching the surface. They provided thorough instructions and fun facts about the area and sea life. The crystal clear waters covering the reef along Molokini's coast provided beautiful snorkeling with an abundance of interesting coral and fish to see. We highly recommend a tour with Makena Coast Charters when visiting Maui, and we will definitely see them again on our next visit. Note: our actual time in the water was 30 to 45 minutes.

It was great! Our guides were really knowledgeable and were really engaging. They made sure we were able to get good views of the whales. I was hesitant about riding in a raft but it was smoother that the boat I was on for the sea turtle excursion. I would recommend to anyone; it was truly a remarkable experience!!

Kaden was extremely knowledgeable about the plants and environment on the hike. We sampled some edible flowers along the way. We had some younger kids along with the group and he payed attention to them making sure they were safe during the hiking and swimming. Went with a good friend and we enjoyed the afternoon. Good water shoes helped keep us moving.

This tour was amazing! Our guides were entertaining and knowledgeable. Riding around in an Old VW is a whole vibe. The Maui Brewing Company had amazing beer and the fish tacos were mouth watering delicious. Go ahead and book it, you won't be disappointed

I was picked up on time at the agreed meeting point and driven safely up the mountain. The bus driver told many interesting stories. The sunrise on Haleakala was beautiful. As the sun came out, the locals sang a welcoming chant, "e ala e," a traditional sunrise chant, which touched me deeply. We had breakfast at the Tropical Plantation restaurant, a very beautiful place, and the breakfast was delicious. All in all, a fantastic trip and a 100% recommendation. Mahalo 🌺
