The tour was operated by Hairycow and was at the end of January. The organization was excellent. After I purchased the tour, trip.com contacted me to reschedule it because the tour with a stop at the distillery wasn't available that day. I was offered a tour on the day I selected but with a lake cruise, or other days from the list that included the distillery. I chose the boat ride and was not disappointed. The bus was comfortable, with restroom and snack stops along the way. The views were stunning; I personally didn't have enough stops for nature photography. But the views are so beautiful that I wanted to stop every 100 meters. Late January was a good time for the boat ride; the boat has two decks, open on top and large windows on the bottom, and is well heated. There's also a bar with alcohol (I recommend the lower deck and look for the windows with the Nessie sticker for photos). And even though the program didn't say there would be hairy cows, the company named after them certainly showed them to us. Thank you!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience. The entire day was incredibly well organized, and the scenery was simply breathtaking. Visiting places like the Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glencoe, and the beautiful Scottish Highlands was truly unforgettable. What made the tour especially outstanding was our driver and guide, Jason. He did an amazing job throughout the whole trip. Jason was not only an excellent driver, making us feel safe and comfortable during the long journey, but he was also a very knowledgeable and engaging guide. His stories, historical insights, and sense of humor made the tour even more enjoyable. You could really feel his passion for Scotland and for sharing it with visitors. He also made sure everyone in the group had a great time, gave helpful tips for photos and viewpoints, and kept the day running smoothly without ever making us feel rushed. Overall, this tour was one of the highlights of our trip.

This was such a good tour. We would definitely reccomend it. The minibus was comfortable, our driver Nick was so knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. We were really lucky with the weather, being February we didn't expect much, but we had a dry day, with some sunshine thrown in. The scenery was stunning. There are frequent stops, some just photo opportunities, but plenty of comfort breaks too. Lunch in Oban was a longer break, plenty of time to eat and sightsee.

It was simply amazing, everything was prepared for wonderfully and the time line was very precise. A very big thank you to Rich who is just the best and funniest tour guide. Will definitely do this again if I am ever in Scotland again.


