It was a truly intense day: so many stops to capture the best of the Highlands made everything a bit fleeting. For this reason, we decided not to take the cruise on the lake but to enjoy Fort Augustus and Loch Ness for a couple of hours. The guide, perhaps a bit too talkative already at 8:00 in the morning, was talking really fast and we were struggling a bit! By the end, we could no longer listen to him, also missing interesting things about Scotland. The stop in Pitlochry was also too short! Only 20 minutes. But it's a day I highly recommend!
