Before the tour, we received a short briefing about the two types of dolphins we could see and how to tell them apart. Then we set off on the two-hour boat trip. At first, it looked like we wouldn't see any dolphins on this tour. But then we got lucky and saw lots of them. It was a fantastic experience.

My underwater photoshoot with Fatima was an excellent beginning and introduction to Maldives. Fatima met me at the airport and we took a speedboat to "Thulusdhoo"! We enjoyed different areas of this beautiful island because Fatima knew all the special places. I had the best and upmost meaningful photoshoot as a beginner-swimmer. She was so patient and used all of my limitations in the water as opportunities; I was literally floating on my back by the end of the session!

This is a must do experience to really understand the history of Male. The guide was so knowledgeable and friendly and spent so much time explaining what we were seeing. The sites we visited were outstanding and some we would never have discovered by ourselves. And the snacks at the end gave a real taste of Maldivian food and a sense of place. I can not recommend this more highly.
