We had an amazing afternoon doing the Mangrove boat tour. Our guide Memo was great as he was very knowledgable but also very entertaining. We saw an array of birds, lizards, and water animals - and we were so close to the monkeys that we could almost touch them! We were a little unfortunate not to see any crocodiles or snakes, but there’s always an element of luck when trying to view the wildlife. However, the route itself is very scenic and peaceful, and the mangroves are stunning to see in person. The location was tricky to find and no Ubers would pick us up after the trip as we were too far out, so definitely book your return taxi in advance if you don’t have a car. Finally, we were well looked after by the local cat, who walked us all the way down the winding path until we had safely reached the road. A lovely day and a great experience, would highly recommend!★

Visiting Manuel Antonio National Park was an unforgettable experience thanks to the incredible diversity of wildlife. We were lucky to see a wide range of animals, making the visit truly special and memorable. We felt especially fortunate to have booked a guide, as it made a huge difference in spotting and learning about the animals we might have otherwise missed. Luis Roberto, our guide, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made the tour both informative and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the park.
