It was a really fun day, fun facts were shared by our very informative guide, can’t think of his name such a busy holiday for me, but Hobbiton was a highlight, the tall skinny guy who showed us around was great, as was our driver, she was awesome, friendly bubbly, all around a good day, would I do it again, yes, it was so magical, and lunch was delicious.

This was a bus tour from Auckland to Waitomo Caves and Hobbiton. The driver was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting stories along the way, which made the trip enjoyable. At Waitomo Caves, we saw a truly mystical and beautiful sight. Before heading to Hobbiton, we were given lunch boxes, which we ate on the bus. We were also given plenty of bottled water, so I don't think you need to bring your own. The guide at Hobbiton was also wonderful and gave us a great tour. I was traveling alone, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent trout organization and very friendly staff. While it was a pity that the Waitomo Cave tour was canceled due to bad weather and flooding, the Hobbiton village experience was amazing.
