This trip involved visiting three countries in a short period with very short stays at each location. While purchasing separate eSIMs might be cheaper, it wouldn't be possible to predict data usage in each location. So, I opted for an eSIM that works in 100 different regions, which is incredibly convenient. Although customer service advised activating it upon arrival, since it included Taiwan, I installed and activated it in Taiwan before boarding. Plus, it's calculated 24/7, which is truly fantastic.★

We went whale watching and didn’t see whales, but we saw tons of dolphins and it was still a great experience. The crew was friendly and professional. They also offer pickup from nearby cities like Colombo for a driver’s fee, which makes it very convenient. Would recommend!★

It works in a lot of countries, the price isn't anything amazing especially depending where you are traveling but it is convenient. I would recommend getting 1gb per day and be prepared that the coverage isn't great.
