Our top experience in Munnar. The day was filled with stunning landscape, plant and traditions discovery a yummy picnic on a river bench (alone in the World) and all the fabulous explanation of Nagu. Chatting to him and learning through him the Keralite culture was so moving. Of course I almost forgot - the wild elephant sight!

Mari is an absolutely excellent tour guide! The tea garden and factory tour was one of the best tours I've been to. The information he gave us about the tea plants, how they are grown, how they are picked, the grafting method, the age of the plants, the other Ayurvedic and beneficial plants that grow among the tea leaves was incredible. He is multi talented as he is also a photographer and captures amazing photos of wildlife and even of us! He made us pose very creatively amongst the tea gardens and took photos of every single one of us and pointed out many species of birds that were there. He picked us a bunch of flowers and plants that are used to cure and treat many Illnesses. After that he brought us a tuk tuk which he was driving himself and we went to the tea factory where we saw each and every process while he gave us an in depth explanation about the process while smelling the fragrance of fresh tea. He then conducted a tea tasting for us which was again, unbelievable. We tried white tea, green tea, orange pekoe, CTC and black tea. I cannot recommend this enough!

One of the best Get Your Guide experiences we’ve had, and a highlight of our trip to India. Our guide Mani was so knowledgable, fun and brought us tea + snacks to keep energised. The half day trek was so much more than we expected with tea plantations, mountains & local villages - we learnt about the local history, tea growing in the area and flora + fauna. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Munnar - an excellent guided trip with spectacular scenery away from the crowds.

The trekking tour was really great! The view was amazing and we walked on really beautiful paths. Our guide Philip explained us also a lot about the tea plantations and the region in general! The breakfast at the viewpoint was also super nice! I would definitely recommend this tour! Thank you :)

I booked this tour to get out in the nature, make a beautiful walk and see the sunrise. Mani picked us up right on time and the tour started . After an hour drive we arrived at a secret spot and then we walked about 30min. We felt always safe with Mani and he knew exactly where to go. When we reached the top there was a beautiful landscape and the view was stunning. Eventhough there was no sunrise, it was worth it. On the way back Mani took us to different spots and we enjoyed a tea together. I would definitely recommend this tour and of course also Mani as a tour guide!


