Our top experience in Munnar. The day was filled with stunning landscape, plant and traditions discovery a yummy picnic on a river bench (alone in the World) and all the fabulous explanation of Nagu. Chatting to him and learning through him the Keralite culture was so moving. Of course I almost forgot - the wild elephant sight!

We had a great experience walking through the tea plantations and discovering the factory and tasting different teas. Our tour guide Mira was amazing, super helpful, gave so much information and was kind and professional. It was such a great experience.
Reviews: Full day in hiking in Munnar (By Munnar Info)

I was looking for a hiking experience in the tea plantations of Munnar with a local guide who can challenge me both on the trail and on educating myself properly while being away from busy crowds. I am truly happy that I had Mani as my guide and that I booked my tour with Meeting Point munnar! We have been a super small group and really had a proper 15km hike and we have been constantly surrounded by nature! Mani knew everything and we had wonderful stops and it felt like a good connection with him. Besides, the lunch Mani provided was a perfect picnic - I loved it!

An amazing day with Ganesh, our driver and guide. Ganesh collected us punctually from our hotel, efficiently did an introduction and gave us bottles of water before running through the iternary of the day. The views were amazing as we went up into the hills. We had some great photo opportunities along the route. Madupatty Dam Lake was wonderful, loved the speed boat ride! Echo point was tranquil especially as we hired a boat! At no point did Ganesh rush us, which was wonderful and made my day with my son extra special. We visited Kundala Lake, again a serene experience before driving up to Top Station......this is a joyful place. My son and I walked and talked as we enjoyed the tea plantation. Next stop was KFDC Floriculture Centre with its variety of colour and well displayed plants. Ganesh drove us for a delightful vegetarian lunch, a restaurant with a fast turn around with locals! The tea museum was the last part of the day. I felt by organising the day well, Ganesh ensured we missed the busier times at the lakes. Thank you, Ganesh for a splendid day.
Reviews: Munnar: Tea trail, Tea Factory, and Tea Tasting Tour

We started with a small group of 4 in the tea fields with an amazing local guide who gave us so much information on the history of the plants, production processes and people employed throughout the centuries as well as directing us in an impromptu photoshoot despite our terrible modelling skills, at least it was before the sunburn set in! (please wear sunscreen people, it was nasty!) we then moved down the road to the factory where we joined about 20 other people to learn about the different processing methods and had an opportunity to taste different quality teas which was also very informative although with the larger group it could be difficult to get close enough to the guide to hear over the noise of the machinery. This was such a great experience and our only regret is forgetting the sunscreen!
