It was all wonderful. I particularly enjoyed seeing the birds, I am a keen birder and never thought I would see a Brahmins kite and a sea eagle. We saw several of each and had really good views.

The trip was convenient, and I loved the simple itinerary surrounded by nature. The lush greenery was a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast, and it instantly made me feel much cooler.

Two interstate friends and I took the Lunch Cruise (late March) which went for just under 1 hour. The staff were lovely and there was plenty of well-presented food. The toilets were spacious enough and clean. We booked our table inside to keep out of the March sun and the views, even from sitting in the middle row did not disappoint. The music selection was pleasant, and the commentary was informative without being intrusive and the staff were organised and efficient. Perfect for out-of-town guests and even locals who have yet to see the canals and Broadwater's of the GC from a boat. I hope to do it again one day.

The Glowworms where as magical as advertised. We had a very nice experience. The Tourguide was the best and very knowledgeable and funny.


