It's convenient that you can extend the SIM card's validity without reinstalling it. The signal, of course, can be a bit weak. But as I noticed in Vietnam, even Wi-Fi can't always download data quickly.

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.

I installed it in a couple of minutes before boarding the plane. Upon arrival, everything was connected and working. Just remember to turn on roaming. So far, so good, no complaints, good speed. I've got a 5-day lease, but I might extend it.
