The catamaran tour was spectacular, relaxing, and beautiful out at sea. I would highly recommend Sunset Sails. The staff were very friendly and catered to our needs with drinks and a delicious fish/chicken lunch. The views of the shoreline were amazing and snorkeling for beginners was fine.

Diego, our guide was amazing, We saw so many animals and birds. Our kids learnt so many facts about the animals. We were very impressed by the proactive communication, which provided useful information regarding parking, where to meet the guide and what to bring. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour has been the best wildlife experience we had in Costa Rica 1 day before the team from Steve Tours Costa Rica contacted me to provide details about the activity they always showed kindness about all my questions and i really felt the willingness to help, My guide in the National Park was Andrey and he was probably the best human and tour guide I ever met in Costa Rica Andrey was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide and he found animals that was super camouflaged and he took amazing pictures for us with his telescope, that sent me at the end we finally saw sloths, white face monkey, lizards, birds, crabs, bats, sneak that was the most popular and one of the most dangerous and some spiders…. at the end we have the rest of the day to stay inside the national park relaxing on the beach that was insane cristal water white sand and no dangerous waves we loved this experience and we definitely will be back PURA VIDA

Awesomeness! This was a great tour! Ask for Andres, he was excellent! We saw sloths, capuchin monkeys, lizards and boas, Jesus Christ lizards running on water, and… more monkeys! The snack was a huge amount of fresh fruit, so tasty. Andres knew all about the mangroves and the farm. Showed us the different types of edible planters and trees, as well as, chaperoned our kids to the Water Buffalo!

Reviews: Manuel Antonio National Park Wildlife Tour

We had a great time getting toured around Manuel Antonio National Park by our tour guide, Jacob! He was not only very knowledgeable about the various animals that we encountered (and had a sharp eye for spotting the more heavily camouflaged ones), he was also very friendly and willing to answer any questions that we had. The tour structure was also very nice. Jacob toured us around for around 3 hours before ending the tour at one of the nice beaches within the park. From there we could choose what we wanted to do between hiking some of the trails that weren’t covered in the tour, relaxing at one of the beaches, or just leaving. We had a wonderful time on the tour, here are some recommendations if you do join: - The beaches close at 3PM though so if you’re interested in that, I’d recommend taking the 7:20AM tour so that you have time to enjoy the beaches at the end. - Make sure to bring a reusable water bottle since single use plastic is not allowed inside (there are potable water stations for refills inside the park) - Eat before the tour since you aren’t allowed to bring your own snacks into the park. If needed there is a store that you can buy food, drinks, or souvenirs before you reach the beach though - Aerosol bug spray and aerosol sunscreen were not allowed so plan accordingly - The guide will have a telescope (monocular?) that they will point at the animals and use your smart phone to take pics of, but it’s also kind of fun to bring in your own binoculars to see if you can find the animals they point out yourself! - If you’re bringing a car, make sure to have cash to pay for parking
