Reviews: Diving in the Madeira Aquarium

It was in incredible experience and a luck to find an aquarium to do it in totally safety. We saw "l'envers du décors", "behind the scenes" and learn many thing about it. The diving instructeur is very patient and alway watchfull. For old or young divers ; do it !★

Many thanks to Nico and the crew for a wonderful morning trip where we got to see both pilot whales and dolphins.
We were rescheduled from 2 days earlier, due to the poor weather, but re-arranging was straightforward and we got plenty of notice. On the day we did get to go out, the crew went out of the way to make sure that we felt at home, that we always had food and drink whenever we needed, and to help explain what we were seeing.
We also appreciated that the boat never felt overcrowded and there was plenty of seating. Unlike some of the other operators which looked crammed full of passengers. So, yes you're paying more, but we thought that it was worth it.
A bonus was that one of the crew went around to take photos not just of the sea life but also of us.★

Fantastic trip today. Toni and Mateus kept us well entertained. The driving was superb and as the pools were closed due to the wind we had longer in Fanal Forest which we loved.★

Took this tour on 6 Nov 25. The jeep picked us up from the hotel bang on time. Franc our guide was extremely charming and gave us lots of information about the island throughout the day. There was a good variety of stops, unfortunately the pools at Porto Moniz were closed due to the large waves but these were spectacular to watch. Great to find the Witch's Tree in Fanal Forest and the off road section through the forest on the way home was the highlight. I would highly recommend this trip.★

It was simply amazing! - we saw a lot of pilot whales and they came so close! The crew took the time to explain everything about their behaviours, there was a baby pilot whale next to the mother and it is interesting to know the way they sleep. I can highly recommend this trip which is fun-pact and also relaxing with great views over the island of Madeira!
