Both places are a must-see :) The trip was very enjoyable, although there's probably more going on around the monastery, and you can walk more and breathe in the mountain air. Nevertheless, it's a great place for a moment of reflection and pause. Boyana Church, on the other hand, is an interesting journey through time and a spiritual experience... I recommend it ;) Your guide is perfect!★

The trip was definitely worth it! Our tour guide was very friendly and made the tour enjoyable. The monastery is truly beautiful. The lake is certainly worth visiting, especially in spring – unfortunately, we had snow, so we couldn't see the lakes. Nevertheless, it was a fascinating experience to witness the experiment at that snowy altitude.★

The monastery was very beautiful and the 7 Rila lakes was amazing as well the walk is about 2-3 hours and very beautiful. The guide made a good atmosphere in the car and the people were also very nice★

Georgi Ivanov was our guide and was very good at guiding us throughout the entire experience! He's very knowledgeable about the monastery's past and present history...he was able to answer many of the group's questions. The monastery is fantastic...the spa is just the right size and there aren't too many people, which allows you to truly relax for a few hours! He was also very punctual about departure and arrival times!★

What we liked most was the guide (Martín); what we liked least was that the price of the tickets wasn't itemized separately, that it would be easier to pay them when making the reservation, and that the entrance to the Rila Museum with a guide was very expensive.
