This whole experience was amazing! I highly recommend MJ Tours and Adventures! I assumed we would be on a bus or van with a large group. I was pleasantly surprised when we met Alfredo, our personal guide just for my husband and I. We had received directions on where to meet up and had no problem finding them. He drove us to the animal sanctuary where we interacted with some monkeys and parrots, then got a very up close look at some sloths- even a mama with a baby. When we were done there, Alfredo drove us the beach area and helped us reserve some loungers at the beach club. He even checked on us periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. When we were ready, he offered to stop by a souvenir shop and a photo op at the Roatan sign. He gave us an interesting history of the island as we drove around he and my husband chatted about baseball. I feel like we made a new friend! Such a great day!

We had a amazing time our guide Josh was so knowledgeable about the island and answered all our questions. We booked this for our cruise shore excursion. The snorkeling portion of our booking was so good Oscar took great care of my sister and I. I really value a tour guide that puts safety at the forefront of the tour. He was also in communication with Josh to make sure we made it back with enough time to get back in the ship. Would highly recommend booking for the future.

Ernesto Stanley was our travel guide. He was absolutely amazing. We had my mom with who has handicap needs and he was amazing at assisting her and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I couldn't ask for a better way to spend my vacation learning about the region and just having so much fun with this man. Thank you so much E.S. We appreciate you and you made our time wonderful!

The small animal park is an absolute highlight. The direct contact with the animals is a truly special experience, and the zookeepers play a major role in its success. The short but very pleasant sightseeing tour almost fades into the background.


