Loved the historic location & the music. Easy access via the funicular. Took advantage of going to the fortress an hour before the show to walk around, enjoy the views and take photos. The show was incredible. The musicians are so talented and did Mozart and other composers justice.

Note that it's more expensive to buy on trip.com vs buying on the counter itself but it might be more convenient given it's denominated in local currency. It's very worth it to buy the card since the attractions covered more than offset the cost of the card. Note you need to go tourist info counter to collect the salzburg card which will be activated only after you visited your first attraction

Overall, it was alright. However, an extra hour and a half was added for shopping, and the local guide said that this wasn't part of the itinerary for this tour, and if we didn't go in to shop, we'd have to wait outside. I was furious! An hour and a half was wasted. We only had half an hour to go shopping at DFS in the evening, which was part of the itinerary, and it was very rushed.
