In addition to scenic trains (such as the Glacier Express), you can also take other regional trains anytime, anywhere. I had half a day left in Zurich during my trip to Switzerland and wasn't sure what to do, so I booked a half-day tour along the Rhine River with this company on Ctrip. After I placed the order, the customer service contacted me. They even sent me a message the day before departure to remind me to join. The service was excellent. The Rhine Falls is the largest waterfall in Europe, and you can choose to take a boat ride. It's quite majestic up close.
