This time I took the Green Island Star; the other ship, Uranus, looked bigger and better. The journey was 50 minutes, and the sea conditions were good this time; I didn't get seasick at all!

The ferry journey from Houbihu to Lanyu is a thrilling and exciting adventure. The boat starts to rock as soon as it sets sail, and when the waves are high, the whole vessel seems to be dancing. Although I felt a bit seasick, seeing the vast Pacific Ocean and the distant silhouette of Lanyu Mountain made it all worthwhile. It's recommended to take seasickness medication beforehand and arrive at port early to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable sea voyage.

The boat is super modern, boarding was very smooth and quick. The staff were helpful and there were no major difficulties. I highly recommend it. This company has several departure times.
