Our Jiufen and Shifen Old Street & Shifen Waterfall day tour was absolutely wonderful and one of the highlights of our Taiwan trip. Visiting Jiufen Old Street, Shifen Old Street, and Shifen Waterfall all in one day was very well planned and not rushed.
The scenery was beautiful—from the charming streets and local food in Jiufen, to the unique lantern experience in Shifen, and the impressive views at the waterfall. Everything flowed smoothly, making it a very enjoyable day.
Our guide Lyndon was amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. He explained the history and stories behind each place, made sure everyone was comfortable, and kept the tour relaxed and fun. His guidance truly made the experience more meaningful and stress-free. He took photos too.
Highly recommended if you want to see these iconic spots in one day with a great guide and a well-organized itinerary.★

They say Yes Jinji Tours are crowded on Mondays, but since many major tourist attractions are closed on Mondays, I have no regrets choosing Yes Jinji Tours on the first day. It rained a lot and Jiufen was crowded, but it was so much fun. Our Korean guide, who went by the names Yoon Eun-kyung, Young-shim, and Kondu, lived in Taiwan for 18 years, so she gave us detailed information about Taiwan, restaurants, drinks, and photo spots, which was really helpful. She has a powerful voice, humor, and wit, and she was a fast and accurate guide, so we were able to see a lot in a short period of time. I heard she is also very good at explaining the Palace Museum tour. It would be great to make a reservation under her name and listen. When you do Yes Jinji Tours, make sure to make a reservation with guide Yoon Eun-kyung~★

I bought the Easy Card because it was the cheapest on Trip.com and used it. It was much more convenient and time-saving. I recharged it with Taiwan 400 and used it up in various ways. The subway fare is almost the same as in Korea, so it runs out quickly. 400 is too much. I also strongly recommend buying tokens!★

The instructor was incredibly kind and patient, explaining every step clearly from equipment preparation to getting into the water, which made me feel very at ease. The most touching moment was actually seeing sea turtles swimming so close – a truly unique experience. The water was super clean, and the scenery was beautiful; I took many photos. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to try snorkeling; it will definitely create wonderful memories!★

The discount is great since the official high speed train website doesn't have special prices. But you have to carefully follow the instructions from the confirmation: 1- don't book your ticket from the regular website as you can't use the redemption code there, -2 make sure you book ahead, the voucher takes 24h to activate. If you are not able to plan ahead, it us better to look for last minutes discounted trains on the high speed train website.★
