Abdul is such a lovely, knowledgeable guy whose grasp of english is excellent. We had a leisurely, enjoyable and interesting E bike ride which began with our best breakfast yet, with a great host, whose wife is a great baker! The tour took us on a long boat ride with short ferry crossings. We saw Kingfishers, Kites, and numerous other birds, and a crocodile. Another highlight was the remains of a temple and magnificent church with some lovely stories to accompany our visit. I can't recommend Abdul and this tour highly enough. Worth every penny. Thank you.★

We had an excellent experience with Make it Happen Old Goa Heritage Walk. Vimala was our storyteller on this walk and regaled us with a number of interesting stories about Old Goa. Her voice and storytelling technique is such that you don’t want the tour to end.★

Calvin was an excellent and engaging storyteller. However, the UNESCO World Heritage site of Fontainhas is in a very poor state, which is regrettable. We felt the lengthy introduction where everyone had to introduce themselves was too long, but Calvin is a talented communicator and, above all, enthusiastic, and fluent in several languages. We also found the break with local drinks and guitar unnecessary, but the whole experience was charming and picturesque thanks to our guide.★

Reviews: Private Tour of Butterfly Sanctuary and Spice Plantation

The Butterfly Conservatory of Goa was an unforgettable and magical place! We saw a handful of different butterflies and had the chance to see India’s largest butterfly, Golden Birdwing. My family and I also saw 2 giant spiders! Our guide was very sweet and shared his story of he and his wife began this place over a decade ago. The facility also features a display of gemstones along with a box full of them which one can mix and match to purchase.
The Tropical Spice Plantation came with a warm welcoming when passing through the bridge by means of having flowers tossed at us. It was delightful and we were given a lemongrass & ginger tea before our tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the different spices we saw! To conclude the tour she gave us each a lavender oil drip down our backs to cool us off and promote a feeling of relaxation. There’s a cute small shop to purchase spices, oil, honey, and other natural handmade products for sale, so be sure to make a pitstop there! Just before leaving my family and I enjoyed an array of buffet style Indian cuisine.
I highly recommend this tour!
