I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.★

I applied for it just before I left for my trip and installed it just before boarding the plane in Japan. Before switching to airplane mode, I switched to my primary mobile network, and once I arrived at my destination, I was able to connect immediately after switching off airplane mode. I've always found it very useful.
