Reviews: Machu Picchu Circuit 3 Royal Route + Profesional Tour Guide
Guest User2026-08-22
The tour itself, with an excellent guide, left me extremely satisfied. However, I found the communication from Enjoy Machu Picchu Travel to be appalling. I booked my ticket on August 7th but only received it a few days before my visit to Machu Picchu. It stated that I was expected at the main entrance as early as 8 a.m., even though the timeframe mentioned 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. When I tried to visit this intermediary, it turned out the address was incorrect, and I was assisted by the father of my contact person, who was unreachable by phone. Very poor service indeed!

If you only have a day to go to Machu Picchu this is a good option, just make sure you know all the logistics ahead of time cause you have a lot of transportation to take.

Comprehensive day trip which covers all the sites. Our guide was Kevin and he was excellent. He explained everything very well and was very jovial throughout the trip. I also appreciated how he kept everyone on time without rushing anyone. Would overall recommend Inka Altitude.
Reviews: Machu Picchu Day Trip from Cusco: Full-Day Guided Tour

Overall, the experience was amazing!Everything was well organized, and I felt like the organizers really took care of us during the trip. Our guide in Machu Picchu was great — very kind, friendly, and interesting. He explained everything well and made the visit much more enjoyable. I also got some really good photos, so I’m very happy with that! The only thing I would change is the timing of the tour. We arrived around 10 AM, but our entrance to Machu Picchu was only at 1 PM. So we had about 2–3 hours of free time just waiting and eating. Honestly, that part felt a bit inefficient. The tour started at 5 AM, and instead of waiting that long in a touristy place where food is quite expensive, it would make more sense to either reduce the waiting time or organize meals better or let us sleep longer lol Even including a simple meal in the tour would improve it a lot. There was also some waiting time after Machu Picchu before heading back, which made the day feel even longer:(
