Both the catamaran, punctual and silent, and the buses were excellent, comfortable and with two excellent drivers out of three (one was vulgar and rude).

I visited early on a weekday morning and the visit was so peaceful! I enjoyed learning about the history of the monastery that includes how it became a monastery, daily life of the nuns, food and food preparation, sleeping quarters, washing clothes, burial practices, and worship. The garden and burial quarters were so peaceful and wonderful to visit!

The garden was beautiful, totally peaceful, a complete contrast to the busy streets. You could really spend a lovely time there! Very informative information boards explained everything important. Bonus: the cute cats who even let you pet them ☺️


