It started early but we were picked up at our hotel, the driver was really friendly, with good humour ( I recommend to sit on the right side of the bus for the nicest view alongside the coast), then everyone gets off the bus to take the 45 min ferry to Kangaroo island. Then, another very knowledgeable driver takes over and gives you so much info and stories about the island. We started our tour with the walk on the beach with sea lions ; 1st time in my life I could see then in the wild and quite close ! Then, we headed West towards the remarkable rocks and then the Arch. We saw kangaroos on our way , in the fields and could even spot wild koalas alongside the road. Lunch was simple but nice. And to finish the day, we stopped at a kangaroos sanctuary where we had the opportunity to feed them. That was awesome!!!

We had a really enjoyable cruise on the Torrens river. The captain pointed out all the places of interest along the way and my husband even got to steer the boat and toot the horn!

The driver ( Craig?) was really great, interesting and engaging. The 2 wine stops were very good, especially Chapel Hill. Peter was good fun and the measures were great!

3 Ladies travelling for a long weekend. We were collected close to our hotel by a friendly, happy driver called Russell. He was full of local knowledge and kept us entertained for the day. Hahndorf was a quiet little village and well worth a visit. McLaren Vale wineries were prepared for our visit and very organised. Lovely setting and very comfortable. A good day overall and would recommend.


