National Mosque of Malaysia
National Mosque of Malaysia is located right next to the old Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and is situated in the green space beside the Lake Gardens. It was completed in 1965. "Negara" means "national" in Malay, and the name commemorates the new nation's peaceful path to independence. Unlike common mosques with onion-shaped domes, it follows a clean and crisp modernist style, using concrete and marble to create a sense of open space, making it stand out among the city's many old Moorish-style buildings. The main dome of the prayer hall is particularly worth seeing: the 16-pointed star-shaped concrete roof resembles a giant open umbrella, radiating outward from the center. Beside it stands a minaret approx. 73 m high, with a top that looks like a closed umbrella, often described by visitors as resembling a rocket. The entire complex can accommodate over 10,000 worshippers at once. Batu Caves
Batu Caves is a cave temple complex formed by limestone hills and is one of the most famous Hindu pilgrimage sites outside of India. This karst cave complex contains over 20 known caves, with the larger Temple Cave housing the Hindu deity of war, Murugan. It is also the central venue for Malaysia's Thaipusam festival, which attracts a large number of Hindu devotees for pilgrimage every year. At the foot of the hill stands a gilded statue of Murugan, approximately 42.7 m high and entirely gold-plated, serving as an iconic landmark of the scenic area. Next to the statue is a colorful rainbow staircase, requiring a climb of 272 steps to reach the cave entrance. Flocks of pigeons often gather on both sides of the stairs, and the plaza is dotted with multiple Hindu statues and colorful decorations. After entering the Temple Cave, walking deep along the towering cave walls, sunlight pours in from natural openings in the cave ceiling, illuminating the rock walls and Hindu shrines, with exquisite statues of Hindu deities distributed throughout the cave. The Cave Villa complex at the foot of the hill consists of the Art Gallery Cave and Museum Cave, displaying statues and murals based on Hindu mythology. To the left of the main staircase is the Ramayana Cave - Suyambu Lingam, with a tall statue of Hanuman standing at the entrance, and murals inside the cave depicting classic scenes from the Indian epic "Ramayana." Stalactites, stalagmites, and other karst geological features can be seen on the cave walls, and the caves are also home to various bats and other cave-dwelling creatures. Perdana Botanical Gardens
Perdana Botanical Gardens is located on the edge of the city center. Established in 1888 and planned and designed by the British, it was formerly known as Lake Gardens. The park covers nearly 100 hectares and spreads around an artificial lake. With rain trees providing shade and open lawns, it is common to see locals jogging or practicing Tai Chi by the lake in the morning, while the evening is perfect for watching the sunset reflect on the water. It is a rare, cool oasis in the bustling city. Perdana Botanical Gardens features tropical plant diversity as its core. The park is planted with dozens of species including palms, bamboo, orchids, hibiscus, and ferns, many of which bloom year-round. Strolling along the lakeside paths, you can often observe squirrels, various birds, and butterflies. The park contains several themed gardens, including the Orchid Garden, which brings together hundreds of orchid species; the Hibiscus Garden, which grows over 500 varieties; the Deer Park, which is home to various deer; and the Herb Garden. Visiting the Petronas Towers requires advance booking. You'll queue on the first floor to take the elevator together, but it's not crowded and the experience is quite pleasant. You can reach two floors: first, the area connecting the two towers on the 40+ floor, where staff will leave at a set time; then, take the elevator directly to the 86th floor.

Love the tunnel fish experience...dissapointed with the taking pictures..very expensive for a single picture...not affordable for the pictures...better come back or just take it to your memories...not worth to buy...but highly recommended t0 kids and people who love marine creatures

Kuala Lumpur Tower Review (98 words)
From the Kuala Lumpur Tower observation deck, you can overlook the entire city, with the Petronas Twin Towers, TRX Tower, and National Theatre all visible – a fantastic vantage point. Unfortunately, the haze was heavy today, obscuring the distant views and significantly diminishing the experience. The SkyBox, a suspended glass structure, is quite challenging and suitable for photography enthusiasts. Overall, it's more of a city skyline photo opportunity; a visit to the tower is relatively short, and it's a convenient stop if you're passing by, not worth a special trip.

Went there on a Saturday night. It was quite packed and busy, and the traffic was pretty bad, so the journey took about 2 hours and 31 minutes instead of the expected 2 hours. Despite the delay, we really enjoyed the bus trip. It was a relaxing way to explore Kuala Lumpur and take in the surrounding sights along the way. Overall, a pleasant experience, especially for enjoying the city views.

National Mosque of Malaysia (Masjid Negara) — одно из самых красивых и спокойных мест в Куала-Лумпуре. Архитектура впечатляет современным дизайном, просторными внутренними дворами, большим куполом и высоким минаретом.Лучше приходить утром или ближе к вечеру, когда меньше людей и не так жарко. На осмотр достаточно 30–60 минут. Обязательно соблюдайте дресс-код: плечи и колени должны быть закрыты, обувь перед входом снимают. Рядом находятся Perdana Botanical Gardens, KL Bird Park, Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia и железнодорожный вокзал Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, поэтому посещение мечети удобно совместить с прогулкой по этим достопримечательностям. Это отличное место, чтобы познакомиться с культурой и архитектурой Малайзии в спокойной атмосфере.

Merdeka Square is truly the heart of KL! I love the vast green lawn surrounded by stunning heritage buildings like the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. It feels so historic and grand, especially at night when everything is beautifully lit up.

A trip to Kuala Lumpur isn’t complete without wandering through Petaling Street Market. Bustling with energy, it’s packed with street food, souvenirs, and hidden gems. I tried some delicious dim sum and grabbed a refreshing bubble tea while browsing the stalls. A lively spot for food and bargain hunting!

Definitely worth the experience and achievement of climbing the stairs. Monkeys are intimidating and although I had no food, one jumped onto my backpack while I was climbing the stairs. Nature inside the cave is lovely.

As a visitor, I must say that Lake Gardens is a treasure of Penang! The beauty here amazed me - the blue water, swaying palm trees and the Georgetown skyline blend perfectly. In the evening, take a walk along the 1.5-kilometer-long seaside trail, the sea breeze blows on your face, and the sunset turns the entire sky golden. It's like a scenery on a postcard! The park facilities are great, with children's play areas, outdoor fitness equipment, and many check-in points, especially the giant Penang landmark letter sculpture. The leisurely atmosphere of locals jogging, walking their dogs, and riding bicycles here made me instantly fall in love with the slow life of this city. Most importantly, it is completely free and is definitely a must-visit attraction in Penang!
