Lilytopia 1.Introduction Gardens by the Bay's first Ancient Egypt-themed floral display, Lilytopia, presents a side of the country rarely seen. While Egypt is often linked to vast dunes and monumental stone structures, this display brings to life its gardens and vibrant colours — elements that once defined its landscapes and culture. Back then, lush gardens lined the Nile and sat within palaces and temples. Temples were painted with hieroglyphs using mineral and botanical pigments, depicting myth, daily life and belief systems. Over time, these colours have faded, leaving behind the stone structures familiar today. Lilytopia revisits this palette lost through time. Visitors journey through Nile-fed gardens, vividly coloured temple settings and artefacts inspired by the Egypt of long ago. Lilies in a spectrum of colours and sweet fragrance anchor the display. A key highlight is the Egyptian Blue Lotus — a water lily revered as a symbol of rebirth and the sun, so prized it was buried with pharaohs. 2.Date:21 Aug 2026——27 Sep 2026 3.Location:Flower Dome 4.Highlights Walk through a formal Egyptian garden of before Witness the interpretation of a formal ancient Egyptian garden in Flower Dome. Such gardens were often walled and rectangular, with a central pool containing fish and aquatic plants. Lilytopia's pond also pays tribute to the Nile, whose waters nourished fertile land and sustained agriculture, communities and gardens amid Egypt's arid landscape. The Great Temple of Abu Simbel The 4.5m-tall façade, inspired by the Great Temple of Abu Simbel in southern Egypt, anchors the display in Flower Dome. It recreates the four colossal, seated statues of King Ramesses II that dominate the original rock-cut temple, which he commissioned around 1264 BC. Egyptian hieroglyphs Witness the colourful hieroglyphs on the walls and columns, inspired by the Temple of Hathor at Dendera, one of Egypt's best-preserved temple complexes. Night Safari
As dusk falls, the shutters open at the Night Safari, welcoming you into a world of nocturnal creatures and their mysterious habitats. Your eyes will take a while to adjust to the darkness here, but once they do, you'll be greeted by close to 900 animals from over 100 species in this world's first nocturnal wildlife park. 41% of these species are threatened, including many indigenous to the region, such as the endangered Asian elephant, Malayan tapir and Malayan tiger. For those who prefer exploring the park on wheels, a Tram Safari ride with live commentary will you across six geographical zones of the world, from the rugged Himalayan Foothills to the jungles of Southeast Asia. Exploring the park on one of the four walking trails lets you see even more animals not visible from the tram. Universal Studios Singapore on Sentosa Island is a fantastic experience! Each of the seven themed areas has its own unique character, with exquisitely designed sets perfect for photos. The Battlestar Galactica dual-track roller coaster and Revenge of the Mummy are thrilling and exhilarating, while the Transformers 3D show is incredibly immersive. The WaterWorld stunt show is a must-see, with its spectacular fire-breathing and explosions. The park is compact, so you don't have to spend a lot of time walking around. There are attractions for both adults and children, the NPCs are friendly, and the giant globe photo opportunity is perfect for taking pictures. A must-visit in Singapore!

Within a week we visited aquarium in KL and Singapore. Singapore's variety of fishes and the ambience setting is definitely much worthwhile!

Singapore zoo is one of the best zoos i have ever visited. It has some unique wilderness in the park area. Also they hold some performance shows of animals and it was really entertaining for kids

There are so many attractions on the island, from family-friendly thrills to indoor and outdoor activities, catering to all budgets. I highly recommend Universal Studios, located at the southernmost tip of mainland Asia; don't miss the chance to apply for a tourist pass. Transportation is convenient, and if possible, consider staying on the island for 2-3 days.

Marina Bay Sands looks completely different depending on when you see it. I thought one visit was enough… then I kept coming back at different times like it was a new place every time 😂

I really like this place, it feels like 2050, btw there are free tours if you stay in Singapore less than 24 hours and a lot of attractions around Jewel, so come 8 hrs before your flight :)

Compared to the zoo, this place has more indoor areas, so you'll inevitably have to walk a lot. Be prepared. The boat ride is basically a track-based attraction; if you sit in the front row, your shoes will get completely wet. Although we brought raincoats, water poured into the boat from the front, soaking my socks too. Luckily, the weather was hot, so they dried quickly.
