Lake Powellis a well-known artificial reservoir on the Colorado River and one of the iconic natural views within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. It spans the border between Utah and Arizona in the United States and was formed by the Glen Canyon Dam impounding the Colorado River. Although it is an artificial lake, it presents a unique view that feels like a natural wonder, thanks to its spectacular red rock canyons, vast and clear blue waters, and complex, ever-changing shoreline topography. The total length of the shoreline exceeds 3,000 km, with nearly 100 side canyons of varying sizes, which hide many natural arches, caves, and red rock formations of various shapes. When boating deep into the lake area, visitors feel as if they have entered a massive labyrinth formed by water and rock, where every turn may reveal a new view.United States · Kane County

Temple Square is located in the heart of Salt Lake City and is the headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It covers about 10 acres and is surrounded by a wall. The square brings together buildings such as the Salt Lake Utah Temple, theTabernacle, the Assembly Hall, and the Seagull Monument, along with meticulously maintained gardens and a visitor center, making it one of the most popular tourist destinations in Utah. The core of the square is the six-spired Salt Lake Utah Temple. This Gothic Revival granite building is the iconic temple of the Church. However, the interior of the temple has historically been open only to Church members, so general visitors mainly admire its majestic exterior from the square. The nearbyTabernacleis known for its oval dome, which resembles a turtle shell, and its excellent acoustics. It is the home of The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. The pipe organ inside, with its tens of thousands of pipes, is famous far and wide and often features live performances open to the public. The Assembly Hall on the south side is a Gothic-style building that often hosts musical performances. Outside the hall stands the Seagull Monument, which commemorates the 1848 event where seagulls ate locusts to save the crops. Volunteer guides from all over the world are often present on the square to introduce visitors to the architecture and the history of the Church. The history of this square is quite storied: in 1847, Brigham Young led followers to the Salt Lake Valley and planned a city in the desert with the temple at its center. To this day, the streets of Salt Lake City are still named based on their distance from the temple. The block on the east side of the square also preserves historical buildings such as the Beehive House, the former residence of Brigham Young.United States · Salt Lake City

Great Salt Lakeboasts a unique ecological environment and spectacular natural scenery, making it an important site for studying salt lake ecology, birdwatching, and experiencing the scenery of desert waters. In years with sufficient precipitation, the lake's surface area expands, while during dry periods, the water level recedes and the exposed salt flats extend further. American white pelicans, phalaropes, and other waterbirds are common visitors to the lake. The Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, located at the lake's northeast corner, is a renowned birdwatching spot that attracts many nature enthusiasts who come to observe migratory flocks and experience the unique charm of the lake's ecosystem. At dusk, sunlight spills across the lake, often painting the water in shades of gold and red, while sailboats drift slowly in the distance, creating a tranquil and beautiful scene. Overall, this lake is not just a unique saltwater lake, but a natural space that blends ecological wonders, geological history, and artistic landscapes.United States · Box Elder County

Utah State Capitol stands atop Capitol Hill on the north side of Salt Lake City and is a Neoclassical building. The exterior walls are built with locally sourced Utah granite and are surrounded by Corinthian columns on the front and sides. The dome at the top is covered in Utah-produced copper, which gleams with a unique metallic luster in the sunlight and can be seen from many locations in the city center. During restoration, the entire building was placed on base isolators, making it capable of withstanding strong earthquakes. Inside, you will find marble floors from Georgia underfoot, and the central three-story rotunda is the highlight of the building: the center of the dome features a ceiling painting of seagulls flying through clouds, and the circular frieze depicts scenes from Utah's history, including the moment when the golden spike was driven to complete the first transcontinental railroad. A massive chandelier hangs beneath the dome. The arched murals and niche statues around the rotunda, the historical paintings in the legislative chambers on both sides, and the gold-leaf decorated Golden Room are all worth taking your time to admire. The circular walkway, lawns, and gardens around the building are perfect for a stroll, and the beehive-shaped sculpture echoes Utah's nickname, the "Beehive State." The replica of the Liberty Bell on the grounds is also worth noting. Standing on the edge of Capitol Hill, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the Salt Lake City skyline and the distant Wasatch Mountains.United States · Salt Lake City

The Gothic-style elegant and quaint large building, with spires and columns, is very magnificent. The tower-shaped gate is connected by four pillars. On the top of the gate stands a statue of an eagle. The golden man on the top of the temple is the legendary angel Moroni who gave inspiration to the founder and sent the golden pages of the Bible. Yawapa Viewpoint is located at the last stop of the Grand Canyon ShuttleBus Orange Line. Looking down from here, the steep cliffs, red and yellow land, countless ditches, the scenery is very intoxicating. There is a geological museum near the viewing point, from which tourists can overlook the Grand Canyon through the large glass windows, which is also a different experience. In addition, this is a place to watch the sunrise. The canyon gradually shows the outline of light from the hazy, which is very shocking.United States · Grand Canyon Village

Lake Powell in the United States has a unique red rock canyon and water sports scene. Here you can rent a cruise ship that can carry up to ten people. You can drive it yourself without a driver's license. Of course, there are also speedboats that are more difficult to control, as well as kayaks.

We went to Salt Lake City to see the Great Salt Lake. The Great Salt Lake is a vast expanse of snow-white and boundless. We had no problem walking and running on it, but the scenery was not as beautiful as the fountain in Yellowstone Park, and it didn't seem as colorful as the salt lake in Qinghai.

The Utah State Government Building is a majestic landmark in Salt Lake City. It covers a large area and has a large lawn in front. I saw a foreign couple taking wedding photos when I went there. The interior of the building has marble walls, floors, stairs, and columns. There are intricate paintings on the dome and many sculptures in the corners of the hall... No wonder it is called the most luxurious and spectacular state government in the United States.
