Shanyang County is located at the southern foot of the Qinling Mountains. It is bordered by Danfeng and Shangnan to the east, Zhen'an and Zhashui to the west, Yunxi of Hubei to the south, and Shangzhou to the north. Since ancient times, it has been an important channel "connecting Qin and Jin in the north and Wu and Chu in the south". It is a major water and drought throat channel connecting the nine provinces of Shaanxi and Hubei. Tianzhu Mountain is located in the southeast of Shanyang County, 30 kilometers away from the county seat.Falcon RidgeFalcon Mountain is located in the middle of Falcon Mountain, with a total area of 42 square kilometers. Its main peak is 2,073.98 meters above sea level. It is the highest mountain in the Falcon Mountain System and a paradise on earth where the Qinling ecology and the long-standing religious culture are intertwined. Tianzhu Mountain has 7 peaks facing each other and 3 ridges. It is divided into four sections: the gate image area of Sengdaoguan, the comprehensive service area for tourists, the health resort area, and the forest sightseeing area. The walking tour line allows you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Qinling ecology during the mountaineering process. The cable car can directly reach the core viewing area and tour the north line. After the tour, you can also visit Shao Yong's enlightenment on the south line. If you choose to walk up and down the mountain, the total play time is about 4 to 6 hours. If you go up and down the mountain by cable car, the tour time is about 3 to 4 hours. Go up the mountain from Dongshan Gate, visit Baicao Valley, Tieqiao Forest, Musk Deer Valley, climb over Eighteen Bends, take a short rest at the Welcoming Pavilion, and after admiring the Thousand-foot Cliff, you can reach the upper station of the cable car and meet up with tourists taking the cable car. Going up from the upper station of the cable car, you will reach Xuantian Cave. Xuantian Cave is a man-made viewing tunnel. In the past, it was very difficult for people to climb Tianzhu Mountain. Until 2009, the 280-meter-long Xuantian Cave was opened, allowing tourists to save at least 2 hours of mountain walking. After exiting Xuantian Cave, the Fairy Island Yaotai of Tianzhu Mountain is not far ahead. Here is the Welcoming Immortal Pine Viewing Platform of Tianzhu Mountain. Qinling Mountains were called Nanshan Mountains before the Qin Dynasty, and were renamed Qinling Mountains after the establishment of the Qin State. People often say "May you be as blessed as the long-flowing water of the East China Sea, and as long-lived as the immortal pines of Nanshan Mountains", which actually refers to the pine trees on the Qinling Mountains. The immortal pines of Tianzhu Mountain are scientifically known as "dragon blood trees". They appeared in the Cretaceous dinosaur era and are known as living fossils among plants. They are listed as protected tree species by UNESCO. After seeing the Welcoming Pine, we can see the iconic landscape of Tianzhu Mountain, "Tianzhu Moxiao". It is a huge naturally formed stone pillar, more than 300 meters high in the middle and more than 400 meters in circumference, shaped like a bamboo joint, with an ancient pine hanging upside down. This suddenly protruding giant granite, eroded by wind and frost, cracked and peeled off, was carved by nature into a giant Buddha finger that supports the sky. "Tianzhu Moxiao" has been known as one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Fengyang" since the establishment of the county in the Western Jin Dynasty. Rest at Xindao Pavilion, pass by Tianzhu Lover, Shougui Cave, Niubi Cave, and Nanshe Teng, climb the Tongtian Cloud Ladder, and arrive at Nantianmen. Sing a song in the clouds at the Yunhai booth, walk through the Hongyun Corridor, and climb up Daobeiliang. Daobei Ridge is one of the iconic landscapes of Tianzhu Mountain. The entire ridge is like a knife cut, surrounded by abysses on three sides. Walking on the man-made plank road and looking to the side is terrifying. Lingyun Pavilion stands on Daobeiliang, facing the wind, proudly standing in the clouds, gazing at the clouds rising and falling, and the passage of time; below the pavilion, the peaks and valleys are deep, filled with clouds and mist, with twisted branches of green trees and hawks circling... This is also a very beautiful sunrise viewing point and cloud sea viewing point after rain in Tianzhu Mountain. Going up, we see the highest area of Tianzhu Mountain - Tianzhu Shengjing. Here is the highest landmark building in Tianzhu Mountain - Tianzhu Dading, with an altitude of 2073.98 meters, as well as the mountaintop wooden house built for forest protection, the Yunding Observation Tower and Yunding Square built after this upgrade, as well as the Lanyue Pavilion and Black Dragon Cave. Go west, here is the Tianzhu Mountain Buddhist and Taoist resort "Yungai Temple", located at the highest peak of Tianzhu Mountain. Due to its high altitude, there are often fog and clouds covering the top all year round, so it is named Yungai Temple. Yungai Temple is the main place for external exchanges and gathering of Taoists and Taoist temples in Tianzhu Mountain. It is the office of Tianzhu Mountain Taoist Management Committee and Tianzhu Mountain Taoist Painting and Calligraphy Institute, and it is also one of the main palaces of the four Taoist temples in Tianzhu Mountain. Continuing westward from Yungai Temple, we will pass the Sleeping Buddha Pavilion, Shouyang Cave, and Xiunv Peak. The Chenglu Pan on Xiunv Peak is a 360-degree panoramic glass viewing platform. Continue down to Shuangfeng Temple, which is named after the "Xiunv Peak" and "Feishen Peak" on its south side. From Shuangfeng Temple, you can go to Shao Yong's Enlightenment Line. This route takes about an hour to go back and forth, and you can experience the enlightenment journey of Shao Yong, a Neo-Confucianist in the Southern Song Dynasty. The sub-attractions you can see along this route include the Enlightenment Pavilion, the Observation Platform, the Stone Forest, the Wuji Cliff, and the Long Poetry Road. After finishing the above trip, return to the upper station and take the cable car down the mountain to the Tourist Service Center Square.

Manchuan Ancient Town is located 70 km southeast of the frontier of Shanyang County, Shangluo, at the confluence of the Jinqian River and the Jinjia River. It is named for its vast landscape and wide waters. Manchuan Ancient Town was once the border between the Qin and Chu states, where defenses were established throughout history; today, it serves as the border between Shaanxi and Hubei provinces. Manchuan Ancient Town has a long history. During the Spring and Autumn period, it was the Manzi State. During the Warring States period, the route from Chu to Fangcheng passed through here, and the Qin-Chu boundary stele still stands today. During the Southern Song Dynasty, it was a roundabout battlefield contested repeatedly by the Song and Jin forces. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, water transport flourished here, and buildings constructed at that time, such as the Danfeng Colored Temple, Hubei Guild Hall, Wuchang Guild Hall, Muleteers' Guild Hall, and Wusheng Palace, are now listed as protected cultural relics. Below Tudiling in Qiandianzi Village of Manchuan Ancient Town, there is the "Thousand Buddha Cave" in the mountains, built during the Yongchang reign of the Wu Zhou Dynasty, which currently houses 222 Buddha statues. Manchuan Ancient Town is nestled among mountains and waters, surrounded by ranges: the towering Long Mountain to the east, the majestic Hu Ling to the north, and the grand Yun Ling to the southwest, with the Jinqian River and Jinjia River flowing through it. The climate here is warm and humid, and it is rich in citrus, rice, sesame, and tung oil. Before the Longhai Railway opened,Manchuanserved as a water and land terminal, becoming an important distribution center for the exchange of goods between Shaanxi, Hubei, Henan, and Sichuan. The streets ofManchuanare long and narrow, paved with stone slabs, blocks, and pebbles. The residential houses on both sides mostly have wooden walls; they are small and exquisite, featuring an upper attic, painted gables, upturned dragon and phoenix eaves, and mirrors suspended from the roof, all exuding an antique charm. The streets have daily markets with many shops, continuing the tradition of "men working in the fields, women running the stalls."

Qinling Jinshixia Gorge | The scenery is worth seeing, but those prone to motion sickness should be cautious ✨ The shuttle bus travels along winding mountain roads with continuous sharp turns, and I was so nauseous that I had to throw up. Please remember to bring your own trash bags! After getting off the bus and entering the gorge, you'll be surrounded by lush greenery and babbling brooks. The natural scenery is absolutely stunning, making it a journey that's tough at first but sweet later.

Niubeiliang Forest Park is truly a hidden gem, a natural oxygen bar that no one knows about. Xi'an is especially hot, so I looked up nearby summer resorts, and they were really cool and refreshing. Hiking and playing in the water was so much fun!

My friends from out of town brought me here. Besides the cave, there are other entertainment options inside the park. You can hike while enjoying the beautiful scenery. However, there are quite a few paid attractions, like elevators, which all cost money. The only free option is a two-legged stool. As a local, I felt the prices were a bit expensive. But for tourists who enjoy hiking, it should be a pretty good choice.

Value for money: A ¥120 car allowance is available for those driving, making it excellent value. The ¥130 cable car ticket is a must-buy, otherwise your legs will give out. Scenery: It combines the danger of Huashan with the beauty of Huangshan, and that's no exaggeration. There are quite a few steps, which isn't particularly friendly to the elderly or children. Fun: Real rock climbing with beginner and advanced slopes to choose from. For those who have climbed the beginner slope, it's still very thrilling. People with a fear of heights should be cautious; recommended for the brave.

The most distinctive feature of Tayun Mountain is its "peril"—the Guanyin Hall on the Golden Summit is perched on three sides over a sheer drop, earning it the reputation of "the most dangerous Taoist temple in the world." It is also a famous mountain in the Qinling Mountains that deeply integrates Taoist culture. The scenic area is clean, and the staff are patient and attentive. However, the must-drive section of the Momu Road is quite difficult to navigate, with several landslides and road construction; drivers need to be careful.

I decided to escape the hustle and bustle of the city this weekend and drove 180 kilometers to Dihua Ancient Town in Shangluo, Shaanxi. I heard it's crowded when the lotus flowers are in bloom, but in this increasingly autumnal season, I experienced a rare tranquility and serenity. 🍁 The scale of the ancient town is truly impressive, with its well-arranged ancient buildings and winding cobblestone streets, each bearing the marks of time. 🏯 Although it lacks the vibrant blooms of summer, the ancient town in autumn has a unique charm—fallen leaves flutter in the air, and the faint fragrance of osmanthus blossoms fills the air, making you unconsciously slow down and enjoy this rare peace. Strolling through the alleys of the ancient town, I occasionally encountered a few leisurely villagers, chatting on their doorsteps or busy with their daily tasks. Their unhurried attitude reminded me of the long-lost warmth of everyday life. 👵👴 Compared to the hustle and bustle of summer, the ancient town in autumn is more like a delicate ink painting, bringing joy to the heart. Of course, as a travel enthusiast, I also paid attention to the town's cultural heritage and the development of its cultural tourism projects. 📚 I heard that this was once the hometown of Mr. Jia Pingwa in his writings, and every blue brick and tile seems to tell an ancient story. Although the weather was nice yesterday, there weren't many tourists, which gave me more time to savor the charm of this ancient town.

I was just playing around and took few photos. Overall it was ok. It took about an hour to complete the experience. If you walk the Brave Road, it will take more than two hours. Because I brought my child with me, minors are not allowed to experience the Brave Road, so my child and I didn't do that. His father went and said it was quite thrilling. He finished the four items of the Brave Road in about an hour. The environment and scenery here are pretty good. My child likes to play, but he didn't play enough in one time. I don't know if he can play it again. We came out directly after playing. It would be better if we can play it again. It also depends on each person's progress. My child is more courageous and always rushes very fast. I can't catch up with him. He said he would challenge the Brave Road when he grows up, haha

The navigation was correct and the road conditions were good. I came in mid-November, and there were very few people in the scenic area. From the ticket gate to the last Haiya Stone, we walked up the canyon. The last section involved climbing steps, which was a bit tiring. It took us three hours to walk, and an hour to return the same way. Including waiting and taking the bus, the whole visit took 5 hours.

#### Review of the Qin-Chu Ancient Road in Zhongnan Mountain, Zhashui (Historical Perspective) The Qin-Chu Ancient Road in Zhongnan Mountain, Zhashui, is not only a scenic hiking route but also a "living fossil" carrying a rich history. As a section of the historically vital "Yigu Road," connecting the Qin and Chu states, it has witnessed thousands of years of vicissitudes. This ancient road stretches 15 kilometers from Xiaoyukou in Yingpan Town, Zhashui County, Shaanxi Province in the south to Tianduchi in Chang'an Prefecture in the north. It was once a crucial transportation route between the ancient Qin and Chu states. Walking along this ancient post road, one can almost hear the echoes of history and feel the bustling activity of merchants and soldiers. The ancient road not only boasts stunning natural scenery but also preserves many precious cultural relics, such as Zhao Kuangyin's gambling den, Wang Bozi's shop, and the ruins of the Flower Gate Tower. These relics, like pearls scattered in the river of history, string together vivid historical stories, adding a rich cultural atmosphere to the ancient road. Embarking on the ancient Qin-Chu road is not only a journey to conquer mountains and get close to nature, but also a cultural exploration that transcends millennia. Here, you can touch the traces of history, feel the sedimentation of time, and experience the unique charm of "a mountain dividing north and south, a step across a thousand years."
