Depart from the city in the early morning, where your driver and guide will pick you up on time and take you directly to the core area of the Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum, helping you avoid the peak crowds for entry. The guide will accompany you throughout the in-depth exploration of the three main pits of the Terracotta Army: In front of the awe-inspiring army formation of thousands of unique terracotta figures in Pit 1, marvel at the grandeur of the Qin Empire; in the partially excavated and vividly painted remnants of Pit 2, observe the intricate details of cavalry, archers, and other military figures up close, feeling the vibrant life of the "underground army"; finally, stand before the ancient military command system layout in Pit 3 and listen to the strategic wisdom of the Qin army's troop deployment.
In the afternoon, transfer to Huaqing Palace (if you booked a private tour and choose not to visit Huaqing Palace, you may substitute it with one urban attraction: Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, Xi'an City Wall, or Muslim Quarter; join-in tour itineraries are fixed and cannot be modified). Stroll through the hot spring palace of Emperor Xuanzong and Lady Yang, tread by the ripples of Jiulong Lake, explore the ruins of Tang Imperial Pools (Begonia Pool, Star Pool), and ascend Mount Li for a panoramic view of Lintong. Immerse yourself in the lingering charm of the Tang Dynasty's golden age amidst the blend of history and nature.
After the tour concludes, the driver will safely return you to downtown Xi'an (private tours will drop you off at your hotel, while join-in tours will disband at a designated location in the city).
