Acadia National Park
Acodia National Park is located on the Atlantic coast of Maine, the United States, on both sides of Frenchman Bay, covering an area of 168 square kilometers. Built in early 1916, it became Lafayette National Park in 1919 and changed to its current name in 1929. The entire national park is scattered on the three small islands of Mountdesertisland, Schoodicpeninsula and Isleauhaut. Its main attractions are concentrated on Mountdesertisland, and the 27-mile-long park loop route on the island captures the essence of the entire park: rugged reefs, lush greenery. Acadia National Park is a United States national park located on the coast of Maine. The park contains the highest peaks on the Atlantic coast of the United States. The park protects about half of Mount Desert Island. There is a lighthouse at the entrance to Bass Harbor in the southwest of Mount Desert Island, marking the entrance to Bass Harbor and Blue Mountain Bay.

We had a fun day driving through and seeing various parks in the area. Cleveland National Park is 460,000 acres (720 sq miles). There are also some nice areas for pretty desert views.
