Some of the most famous mausoleums found in this group of Han Dynasty tombs—large and small—include Emperor Yuan of Han, the grandson of Emperor Gaozu of Han, and his empress. The tomb of Emperor Yuan is located on the south side of Yongcheng's Mangdang Mountain. Emperor Yuan was also known as Liang Xiao and Liu Wu. He was the second son of Emperor Wen of Han. He was recorded in history as Liang Xiao after his death. The tomb is shaped like a mountain and is hidden under stones. The door of the tomb faces to the east. The tomb of Liang Xiao's empress includes many grave goods, which were items very much like those that would have been used in her daily life. Between Liang Xiao's tomb and the tomb of the empress, there is a underground passage called the "Huangquan (Yellow Spring) Path." This is the road the souls of Liang Xiao and his empress would have traveled following their deaths. It is said that when later generations referred to "the fate of Huangquan" or the "Huangquan Path" that this is the origin of the phrase.Yongcheng · 71.4 km from Suzhou

I went out for a walk on the weekend, took a sightseeing bus to the halfway point, and hiked the rest of the way. It was winter, so the vegetation was bare and the scenery wasn't great, but hiking is still excellent exercise. There's a toboggan run that was very popular; those who don't want to hike down can give it a try.

The giant pandas were great. I went on New Year's Eve, and there weren't many people. The weather was quite cold and windy, and the overall environment was a bit old, but it was wonderful to see the giant pandas. If I had the time, I'd like to see them every week.

Mangdang Mountain is located in Yongcheng, Henan Province. It is a national AAAAA-level scenic spot that combines natural wonders with historical heritage. As the "Han Culture Corridor", the scenic area has a rare group of Western Han Dynasty tombs in the world. The tombs of Liang Xiaowang and the Queen's Tomb were carved into the mountain and have exquisite structures. The "appearance" wonder of Liu Bang's Snake-Slaying Stele at night has been passed down for thousands of years; Confucius Mountain retains the remains of Confucius's teachings in the rain, and the Mangshan Temple is surrounded by smoke and fire, where Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism are integrated. In the unique limestone landform, geological relics such as ripples and fossils are like natural textbooks, adding a sense of humanistic depth to the mountains and rivers.

Mount Mangdang, which is only a little over 100 meters high, is regarded as the "place where the Han Dynasty rose" because of Emperor Gaozu's "uprising by slaying the snake". As the saying goes, "A mountain is not famous because of its height, but because of the immortals who live there; a river is not sacred because of its depth, but because of the dragons that live there!" The nearly 40-meter-high statue of Liu Bang stands majestically, with his clothes fluttering in the wind, showing the grandeur of the Han Dynasty!

Flowers in Dangshan are in full bloom for ten miles, but I am at a loss for words when I try to compose a poem. Don't laugh at the simpletons for their lack of knowledge, just blame the masters for running out of words.

The ancient city site of Dang County is located in Shanchengji, Mangdangshan District. It was the seat of Dang County and Dang County in the Qin Dynasty, and the city walls still exist. The existing rammed earth north wall starts 40 meters behind the bookstore in the west and ends at the northeast side of Mangshan Middle School in the east. It is 890 meters long and about 30 meters wide. The highest point is 2 meters. The east, south and west city walls are no longer on the ground. There are pottery making and iron smelting sites in the city.

It's very cost-effective and suitable for bringing children to play on weekends. The towering trees inside keep it cool, and I hope the water flow will be fixed soon. The hike is also fun, taking about 3 hours to complete.
