The ancient town of Chenlu is located on a mountain peak 15 km southeast of Yintai District, Tongchuan. According to records, it was named for its "display of pottery kilns."The ancient town of Chenluis the only remaining Yao porcelain production base in history where "kiln fires have burned for a thousand years," a miracle in the history of ceramics, earning it the reputation of the "ancient oriental ceramic town." The ancient town of Chenlu is also the only ceramic hometown among the cultural and artistic hometowns named by Shaanxi Province. The ancient town of Chenlu boasts beautiful mountains and rivers, with a long and profound history of ceramic culture. Historical records state, "The pottery fields stretch three miles north to south and five miles east to west, with kiln fires scattered about, bright throughout the night," creating a scene where "a thousand households are lost in the smoke and fire." It was listed as one of the "eight scenic spots of Tongguan" in ancient times, known as the "sleepless kiln mountains."The ancient town of Chenlu's folk customs are closely related to ceramics, with folk houses, cuisine, and arts all embodying rich ceramic cultural connotations. The folk houses in the ancient town of Chenlu are ancient. Pottery kilns, caves, and walls built with jars are arranged along the mountain, dense like a beehive; paths paved with porcelain shards resemble oil paintings and are highly ornamental, earning them the title of "art underfoot." The ancient town of Chenlu has a history of porcelain making spanning over 1,400 years. It is the only remaining kiln site that continued production of the famousancient Yaozhou Kilnafter the Song and Yuan dynasties, and it achieved an annual output of 8,000,000 pieces of porcelain during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty. The Chenlu Zhenggu porcelain kiln had records of "flames rolling in the kiln fire" as early as the Tang Dynasty. The ceramic industry reached its peak during the Northern Song Dynasty, famous for firing green, white, black, and soy-glazed porcelain. Since the Yuan Dynasty, it has remained an important ceramic production base in the Northwest region. Its porcelain products are mainly daily utensils such as bowls, plates, basins, jars, bottles, boxes, lamps, and stoves, along with some decorative items, ritual vessels, and porcelain carvings, featuring a rich variety of glaze colors.

Yuhua Palace Attraction is located in Yuhua Town, northwest of Tongchuan City. It was built in the seventh year of Wude (624 AD) of Emperor Gaozu of Tang Dynasty. It was once a summer palace in the west. After Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty ascended the throne, Yuhua Palace was changed into a temple. In the fourth year of Xianqing (659 AD), the world-famous Master Xuanzang moved to Yuhua Temple with his disciples to translate Buddhist scriptures, and lived in Yuhua Temple for four years. In the first year of Linde (664 AD), he passed away in Suchengyuan of Yuhua Temple. Today, the palace and temple buildings of that year no longer exist, because it is surrounded by mountains and lush vegetation, and has become a summer resort for Residents in the Souvenir . The Yuhua Palace Attraction is lush with trees, and waterfalls and springs can be seen everywhere. There are also many pools and streams in the mountains with clear water quality. It is a good place for Residents in the Souvenir to visit the mountains. The scenery here varies throughout the year. In spring, wild flowers are everywhere in the mountains and fields. In summer, the temperature here is also high, and the thick shade of branches and leaves blocks the sunlight. In autumn, the mountains are full of red leaves. Every winter, an ice and snow festival is held here, where tourists can ski and skate. In the cold season of January and February, there will be exquisite ice sculptures in the Attraction for tourists to enjoy. There are hotels and farmhouses in the Attraction to provide accommodation and Dining services for tourists. In addition to appreciating the beauty of nature, tourists can also visit the Xuanzang Memorial Hall in the Attraction. This is a special museum for Master Xuanzang in recent years. The museum exhibits some cultural relics and Buddhist items unearthed from the Yuhua Palace. The Suchengyuan site in the Attraction is the site of the Sucheng Hall of the Yuhua Palace in the Tang Dynasty. It was renamed Suchengyuan during the Yuhua Temple period. It was also the place where Master Xuanzang stayed, reasoned about Buddhism, and passed away.

Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum

4.7/5
150.4k reviews

Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum is a large site museum built on the site of the Terracotta Army pits, which are located approx. 1.5 km east of the mound of Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum. In March 1974, farmers from Xiyang Village accidentally unearthed fragments of terracotta figures while digging a well, and archaeological exploration confirmed Pit 1; in 1976, Pits 2 and 3 were successively discovered to the north of Pit 1. This army, which had slumbered for over 2,000 years, was thus brought back to light, and the discovery of the Terracotta Army has been hailed as "one of the great discoveries in the history of 20th-century archaeology." Pit 1 is the main military formation among the three pits, stretching over 200 m from east to west, with an estimated 6,000 pottery figurines and horses buried inside. Standing at the edge and looking down, armored warrior figurines, war chariots, and pottery horses are arrayed eastward in battle formation. A closer look at each figure reveals different facial shapes, hairstyles, beards, and even hand gestures. The figurines were originally painted all over, but most of the paint has peeled off and discolored due to fire and long burial. Pit 2 is L-shaped, with crossbowmen, cavalry, and charioteers arranged in a mixed formation; the vividly expressive kneeling archer was unearthed here. Pit 3 is small in scale, and scholars believe the ceremonial guard figurines and war chariots unearthed there indicate it served as the command center—known in ancient times as a "military tent"—directing the formations in Pits 1 and 2. The bronze swords, pi halberds, spears, crossbow triggers, and large quantities of arrowheads unearthed from the pits—many still sharp after more than 2,000 years—demonstrate the sophistication of Qin dynasty metallurgy. The Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum and the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum at the foot of Mount Li were originally one integrated whole. After Qin Shi Huang ascended the throne at the age of 13, he began constructing the mausoleum, conscripting hundreds of thousands of laborers over a period spanning more than 30 years; the terracotta army, which replaced human sacrifice with figurines, served as the underground guard for this imperial mausoleum. To avoid the crowds during your visit, you might want to see Pit 3 and Pit 2 first, and then take your time to experience the awe-inspiring scene of Pit 1 last. After viewing the terracotta pits, you can also take the attraction's shuttle bus to Lishan Garden, where Emperor Qinshihuang's mausoleum is located; the Acrobats Pit, the Civil Officials Pit, and the Bronze Chariots and Horses Museum are all within the garden. The two painted bronze chariots and horses, cast at half the scale of real chariots, are exquisitely crafted with brilliantly gleaming gold and silver fittings, and are well worth a special trip to see.

I visited Yaowang Mountain in Tongchuan on October 1st, National Day, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The mountain isn't too steep, making it suitable for leisurely exploration for all ages. The mountain is covered with ancient cypress trees, their fragrance refreshing, creating a serene environment. This is the hermitage of Sun Simiao, the "Medicine King," and there are many interesting sights, including inscriptions and grotto statues, showcasing its rich cultural heritage. The scenic area was well-organized during the National Day holiday, with clear signage, allowing me to learn about the history of traditional Chinese medicine as I walked – a very rewarding experience. Climbing to the platform offers a panoramic view of Yaozhou city. It's a great short trip around Xi'an, combining hiking, fresh air, and historical exploration – a perfect blend of relaxation and educational experience.

Title: Passionate skiing, enjoy the fun of ice and snow - my experience of skiing Introduction: Skiing, this passionate and challenging sport, is always desirable. This winter, I finally had the opportunity to come to the ski resort I had long admired and experienced a unique ice and snow journey. The following is my experience of playing at the XX ski resort, and I share this joy with you. 1. First visit to the ski resort The ski resort is located in a beautiful mountainous area with convenient transportation and complete facilities. When I arrived at the ski resort, I was immediately attracted by the natural scenery here. The snow-capped slopes, the blue sky, and the fresh air seemed to have entered a pure fairy tale world. 2. Ski equipment rental In order to better experience the fun of skiing, I rented professional ski equipment at the ski resort. The ski resort provides a full range of equipment, including skis, ski boots, ski poles, helmets, etc. The staff patiently selected suitable equipment for me and my companions, and explained in detail how to use it to ensure our safety. 3. Skiing experience 1. Beginner experience As a ski beginner, I chose the primary track. Under the guidance of the coach, I learned the basic skiing posture and skills. Although I fell several times during the process, the feeling of flying on the snow made me unable to stop. 2. Intermediate track challenge After getting familiar with the basic essentials of skiing, I began to try the intermediate track. Compared with the primary track, the intermediate track has a larger slope and a faster speed. During the sliding process, I felt the thrill of speeding, and it also tested my balance and adaptability. 3. Snow entertainment projects In addition to skiing, the ski resort also has entertainment projects such as snow flying saucers, snowmobiles, and snow tanks. My friends and I tried these projects together, and laughter echoed over the ski resort, allowing us to feel the unique charm of the ice and snow world. IV. Food and rest 1. Catering services The restaurants in the ski resort provide a rich variety of food, including authentic local specialties and a variety of fast food. After skiing, taste the food, replenish your energy, and prepare for the next play. 2. Rest area The ski resort has several rest areas equipped with comfortable chairs and heating equipment. In the rest area, we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the ski resort, exchange skiing experiences, and relax. V. Intimate service 1. Coach team The coach team of XX ski resort is professional and enthusiastic. They patiently provide one-on-one teaching to tourists, so that more people can master skiing skills and enjoy skiing. 2. Safety guarantee The ski resort attaches great importance to the safety of tourists and is equipped with a professional safety guarantee team. During the skiing process, patrolling paramedics can be seen everywhere to ensure that tourists can get timely help when they encounter difficulties. 3. Children's playground The ski resort also set up a children's playground for children, equipped with professional caregivers, so that parents can let their children play in the snow with confidence. VI. Play experience 1. Challenge yourself During the play process of the ski resort,

This "living ceramic town" boasts a 1400-year history, with unique landscapes of walls built from stacked pottery jars and roads paved with ceramic shards. The colorful ceramic shard road at Longfengpo and the panoramic view of Beibaozhai are both highly scenic. Visitors can also experience pottery DIY projects such as throwing and painting, and find handmade ceramics on the street at great value. The ancient town is open to the public free of charge, combining a lively atmosphere with an artistic ambiance.

The scenic area is easily accessible, with exceptionally fresh air and a high concentration of negative oxygen ions. The entire canyon is flat; a 10-minute sightseeing bus ride takes you to the final stop, followed by a roughly 2-kilometer walk. The first 50 meters or so leads to the Heart-Shaped Flower Sea photo spot, which is stunning. There are also dreamy bubbles and a misty forest – truly a worthwhile trip, especially the Heart-Shaped Flower Sea, it's absolutely gorgeous!

Seeing the elm wood cannons and hemp fiber grenades, I was deeply moved by the hardships our ancestors endured. Respect! The scenery is beautiful, with unique geological formations. I encountered many middle school students on study tours. Fantastic, definitely worth a visit.

Yuhua Palace was first built in 624 AD (the seventh year of the Wude era of the Tang Dynasty) as Renzhi Palace. It was expanded and renamed in 647 AD (the twenty-first year of the Zhenguan era). In 651 AD (the second year of the Yonghui era), the palace was converted into a temple. It was one of the four major summer palaces of the Tang Dynasty and the place where Xuanzang spent his later years translating Buddhist scriptures and passed away.

I went there on December 28, 24. The annual tourist ticket is free. It is known as the ancestral temple of Guanyin. Legend has it that Emperor Taizong of Tang once escaped the summer heat here, Wu Zetian also came here, and Xi Zhongxun once fought guerrillas and held meetings here. The Buddha statues are all newly sculpted, and they are quite beautiful. There is no sense of déjà vu of Yiwu Small Commodity Market. If you don't take the scenic shuttle bus from the South Gate, 3 hours round trip is enough, and the parking fee is 10 yuan. The road to the scenic area is not very good.

Cotton Depot: Also known as the Womu Castle Camp, and also called Hogwarts Castle in the past, it is located on Yaowang Avenue, Yaozhou District, Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province. It was originally a national cotton reserve warehouse, but is now widely abandoned. After renovation, the local area was built into a castle with a dreamlike feature on the basis of the original cotton depot, which is open to the public and quite unique.

【Scenery】Since the temple is located on the south side of the mountain, in spring and summer, the mountain flowers are in full bloom and the fragrance is everywhere, hence the name Xiangshan. Daxiangshan Temple has a long history and is one of the three largest temples in Shaanxi Province, dating back to the Fu Qin Dynasty. The flesh-and-blood body of Avalokitesvara is enshrined here, and Avalokitesvara is very compassionate. This was the place where the Bodhisattva practiced at home, when she was the third princess, Princess Miaoshan.

Extremely satisfied. The director's explanations were professional and engaging. A supervisor led the group beforehand, explaining everything clearly. At pits 1, 2, and 3 of the Terracotta Army, professional guides provided explanations. The supervisor was waiting for us at the entrance, which was reassuring; we didn't have to look for him. He even created a group chat to share his location and phone number, just in case we got separated. We also watched a 9D movie, which was incredibly impressive. Later, we watched a 3D movie with our child, which was also fantastic. After the movie, the supervisor proactively contacted us to arrange a guided tour at Lishan Park, which was also excellent. Very satisfied and will recommend to friends.
