Things to do in Tonglu

一幅《富春山居图》，让人们认识了美如画卷的浙江省桐庐县。时至今日，人们在这里只需随手一拍，便是一幅画。虽然属于杭州市，但是桐庐县有独立的高铁站，距离杭州其他县城也是高铁自由。中国十大传世名画之一，被誉为“画中兰亭”的《富春山居图》，就是以桐庐县富春江为背景而画的。旅游资源大部分位于富春江和分水江两岸。 沿着富春江一路漫游，健康又沉浸，感觉整条沿江路都是公园。

Hidden in the secret place in the mountains - Tonglu Stone House, here, the green mountains are like dark blue, the streams are gurgling, like a flowing ink painting. Walking in the ancient village, you will be attracted by the stone buildings here, which are harmoniously integrated with the surrounding environment, as if they are masterpieces of nature. Stone House is also a small world full of artistic atmosphere. The courtyard art here makes people linger, and each courtyard hides a deep story.

- 地理特征：马陵古道为沂蒙山余脉，南北走向，海拔在80至180米之间，北起九道湾，南至嶂苍，全长50多公里。其中，郯城县东北郊的马陵山风景名胜区由峰山、斗山、虎山、奶奶山和黄花菜岭五座山头组成，九道弯九曲盘绕，长约5公里，东临沭河，西接平原，形势险要。​- 历史遗迹：独龙涧中有庞涓上马石，长3.2米，宽1.7米，厚0.55米。独龙涧进口处的卸甲营，传为庞涓中箭死后，孙膑于此安营扎寨而得名。此外，还有点将台、校兵场、跑马岭等遗迹，沿途多次出土战国铜箭头和青铜兵器，进一步证实了这里是马陵之战的战场。

Luci Village is located on the bank of Fuchun River in the southeast of Fuchunjiang Town, Tonglu County. It is adjacent to National Highway 320, 12 kilometers away from Tonglu County and 80 kilometers away from Hangzhou. Luci has beautiful scenery and is a good place for leisure and vacation.

Shen'ao boasts numerous cultural relics and historical sites, including the Shentu Clan Ancestral Hall (including the Dijie Hall), a provincial-level cultural relic protection site, and 26 other protected sites, including Huaisu Hall, Gongsi Hall, Jingsong Hall, and Shangzhi Hall. Shen'ao boasts a concentration of ancient architecture, with over a hundred traditional structures preserved across nearly 40,000 square meters, including over 40 from the Qing Dynasty. The buildings, boasting ornate interior carvings, primarily date from the mid- to late Qing Dynasty. Most served as residences, while others served as ancestral halls, temples, opera stages, and bridges. The buildings are similar in style, mostly quadrangle-style courtyards, with residences connected by corner and back doors. While their exteriors are simple, the beams, doors, windows, and wood carvings are exquisitely detailed. Key buildings include Youxu Hall, Shennong Hall, Huaisu Hall, Gongsi Hall, and Huaijing Hall. These structures, combined with the village's water system, create a unique and distinctive character.

During the May Day holiday in 2025, I came to the Fuchun River and took a boat tour at the Tongjunshan Pier. The scenery was beautiful. During the 50-minute tour, I saw the different scenery of the new and old cities. It is highly recommended.

It was a lot of fun, and the kids loved it. The go-karts come in single and tandem versions. Our two older kids rode the single ones, while my friend and I rode the tandem. They're all electric and easy to operate. The single ones seem to have more power; the two kids were gone in the blink of an eye. The tandem ones are a bit slower, but they have a sunshade, which is great for blocking the sun. They go slower uphill, but going downhill doesn't require charging; you just need to use the brakes to adjust the speed. The scenery along the way was amazing! 👍🏻

Accompanying the elderly to see West Lake, we bought tickets to go to the small island to see Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. We boarded the boat at Yue Temple Wharf and disembarked at Flower Harbor Viewing Fish Wharf, which also allowed us to visit Leifeng Pagoda and Jingci Temple.

Tonglu Jiangnan Ancient Village is located in Jiangnan Town, Tonglu County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Main attractions: The ancient buildings such as Gongsi Hall, Jingsong Hall and Shide Hall in Shen'ao Ancient Village are of great ornamental value. Among them, Gongsi Hall has exquisite woodcarving craftsmanship and is known as the "treasure of Jiangnan woodcarving art". Huanxi Ancient Village: Huanxi Ancient Village was built in the Southern Song Dynasty and is named because there is a stream in front of the village. This was once the place where Zhu Xi gave lectures, and it has a profound cultural heritage. The buildings in Huanxi Ancient Village are mainly ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and there are more than 100 well-preserved ancient buildings. The buildings here are characterized by white walls and black tiles, horse head walls, woodcarvings and stone carvings, showing the elegance and refinement of the Jiangnan water town. Main attractions: Aiwulu, Shide Hall, Dunmu Hall and other ancient buildings in Huanxi Ancient Village are all of great ornamental value. Among them, Aiwulu has exquisite woodcarving and stonecarving craftsmanship and is known as the "model of Jiangnan ancient architecture". Dipu Ancient Village: It was built in the Southern Song Dynasty and has a history of more than 800 years. Dipu Ancient Village is named because there is Dipu in front of the village. ​Architectural features: Dipu Ancient Village is dominated by ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, with more than 100 well-preserved ancient buildings. The buildings here are characterized by white walls and black tiles, horse head walls, wood carvings and stone carvings, showing the elegance and refinement of the Jiangnan water town. ​ Main attractions: ​Xiaogan Spring: Named after the story of a filial son, the spring water is clear and never dries up in all seasons. ​Ancient stage: With unique architectural style and exquisite wood carving craftsmanship, it is a place for villagers to perform traditional operas. ​Ancient bridge: There are many ancient bridges from the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the village, such as Yong'an Bridge, which are well preserved and have high historical value. Tonglu Jiangnan Ancient Village has become a tourist destination worth visiting with its profound historical and cultural heritage and unique Jiangnan water town style. Here, you can feel the tranquility and beauty of the Jiangnan water town and appreciate the unique charm of ancient Chinese architecture. Tonglu Jiangnan Ancient Village is open to the public free of charge all day.
