Mirissa Beach is one of the three major beaches in southern Sri Lanka. This crescent-shaped beach retains its primitive, natural charm, with bright sunshine, swaying coconut groves, and blue sea and sky. Beach features Mirissa Beach is known for its primitive and tranquil atmosphere. You won't find the chain hotels present on other beaches here, making it a great place to relax, do nothing, take a walk on the beach with your partner, read, or chat. Whale watching It is also an ideal place for whale watching in Sri Lanka. Heading out to sea with the fleet every morning is a rare life experience. Introduction to the east and west ends of the beach The west end of Mirissa Beach is a charming stretch of beach lined with inns on both sides, and there are many simple cafes along the beach that are separated from the main road. The eastern beach curves around, echoing the hustle and bustle of the Galle–Matara road. At the end of the beach, there is also a spot for taking photos. It is a small peninsula extending from the beach that you can walk to at low tide.Mirissa · 7.6 km from Weligama

Parrot Rock is located east of Mirissa Bay, ideal for sunset viewing and a great sea fishing spot. 1. When the tide is high, the road will be covered by sea water, the surrounding is very suitable for snorkeling, and the waves hitting the reefs are also spectacular. 2. When the tide is low, you can walk up the steps, but you must be careful, because there is basically no handrail on the right, and the one on the left is also shaky, so it is dangerous.Mirissa · 8.1 km from Weligama

During my recent trip to Sri Lanka, I had the pleasure of visiting Mirissa Beach, a coastal gem located on the southern coast of the island. Mirissa Beach offers a unique combination of serene shores, the opportunity to spot turtles, and a range of attractions that make it a captivating destination. Here's my review of Mirissa Beach. One of the highlights of Mirissa Beach is its association with sea turtles. If you're a nature enthusiast or simply fascinated by marine life, you're in for a treat. Mirissa is renowned for its turtle population, and visitors have the chance to witness these gentle creatures in their natural habitat. By embarking on a turtle-watching excursion, you can observe turtles swimming gracefully in the crystal-clear waters or witness the incredible sight of hatchlings making their way to the sea. It's an unforgettable experience that offers a glimpse into the wonders of marine life.Apart from its turtle conservation efforts, Mirissa Beach boasts a variety of attractions that cater to different interests. One of the must-visit spots is the Mirissa Harbor, where you can take boat tours to witness majestic whales and dolphins frolicking in the Indian Ocean. These exhilarating trips allow you to get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures, creating memories that will last a lifetime. For those seeking a more laid-back experience, Mirissa Beach offers a tranquil environment ideal for relaxation. The soft golden sands and swaying palm trees create a picturesque setting, perfect for lounging under the sun or indulging in a beachside picnic. The beach is relatively clean and well-maintained, providing a pleasant atmosphere for visitors. When it comes to dining, Mirissa Beach doesn't disappoint. The beachfront is lined with a variety of restaurants and cafes, offering a range of culinary delights. From fresh seafood to traditional Sri Lankan cuisine, the

Absolutely enamored by the rich history and stunning architecture of Galle Fort in Sri Lanka. The well-preserved colonial buildings and charming cobblestone streets make it a must-see destination for history buffs and architecture enthusiasts alike. The panoramic views of the Indian Ocean from the ramparts are unparalleled. A truly magical experience!

We came here specifically to watch the sunset. It was so beautiful that I don't know how to describe it. No matter how you take photos, they are all great. If you get up early, it is also a good place to watch the sunrise. The scenery of the Indian Ocean is really beautiful.

It was quite late when we arrived at Unawatuna Beach. We thought there was nothing to see. Unexpectedly, the scenery here was so beautiful in the evening. There were basically no people on the beach. It was a pretty good beach.

This shop owner discriminates against Asians, or she worships Westerners! Let’s not talk about the skills of the spa first? First of all, the attitude is very bad! If you are arrogant or aloof, don’t open a shop to do business. There are also big problems with such a boss and employees. They put oil on you and then play with the oil! It’s really not an exaggeration! Just touch, no massage!
