It serves as a unique desert astronomy-themed town and a comprehensive desert tourism service complex. The attraction features a desert stargazing theme, combining the actual terrain to highlight distinctive architectural functions. Designed as a "space base" in the desert, it integrates the traditional Chinese astronomical concepts of the 28 lunar mansions and the Milky Way. The layout adopts clustered spherical structures and double-peak tent formations, divided into three functional zones: the Stargazing Exploration Zone, Activity & Leisure Zone, and Visitor Experience Zone. The Stargazing Exploration Zone includes professional and public telescope equipment, science education facilities, and astronomical exhibition spaces—featuring one digital planetarium, one multifunctional science classroom, one Brilliant Starry Sky Hall, one Astronomical Science Hall, and one exhibition hall. It's equipped with one 60cm astronomical telescope and four smaller telescopes for visitors. The Activity & Leisure Zone houses a youth activity center and a multifunctional hall, catering to various science education activities, leisure, entertainment, and dining needs. The Visitor Experience Zone consists of 24 uniquely designed "Star-Chasing Cabins" in spherical and hexagonal shapes with diverse materials, accommodating mid-to-high-end lodging and small conference requirements. Leveraging the unique desert terrain, the design takes the Milky Way galaxy as its central theme, featuring clustered spherical structures and double-peaked tents to create a distinctive desert astronomy tourism base that combines science education, research, and travel. Visitors can immerse themselves in the infinite mystery and wonder of dwelling among the stars, strolling through the cosmos, and reaching out to pluck a star from the sky.Minqin · 30.2 km from downtown

I didn't go into the temple, I just passed by the gate, because I prefer natural scenery. Tianzhu's beauty is unique, integrating various terrains and landforms. It's a blessing to drive two hours from Lanzhou to see such colorful scenery. Yogurt lovers must eat the white yak yogurt at the gate of this temple, which is sticky and natural.

I went there today. The street is not long, connecting West Street at one end and Ganquan Park at the other. There are performances on the street and dance troupes in the park. It is probably a lively place in Ganzhou at night. The most popular food on the street is fried bar.

Arrived at the Desert Park. The park security guard said that the park used to be a desert, but after 30 years of management, it has been greened and the desert is no longer visible. If you want to see the desert, you have to drive more than ten kilometers to the Toudaocao Desert Tourist Area. Thumbs up for the Desert Park security guard.

[Scenery] The night view is super beautiful. Looking at the starry sky in the desert without light pollution at night, you can really feel the wonderful experience of picking stars with your hands.

The Hongyashan Reservoir is located to the north of Wuwei City, an important town on the ancient Silk Road. It is a desert depression water storage project, sandwiched between the Tengger and Badain Jaran deserts on the east and west. In the rain-free Shandan, it plays a very important role in agricultural and animal husbandry planting, like a pearl inlaid in the Gobi grassland.
