This monument is found in a peaceful picturesque setting next to the river. The surrounding area is clean and well kept. There is an information sign next to it and a nice walk down to the river banks...
The story of the monument is interesting to read but there’s not much around the monument. There does seem to be a nice riverside walk beside it though.
