On the National Register of Historic Places

Didn’t realise there were two City Halls until we came across them both. The Old Anchorage City Hall is right behind the “Visit Anchorage Log Cabin Visitor Information Centre”. It was a non-descript...

    Very small

We spent about 10 minutes walking around the displays. It is free, so just step in a walk through. It is in the lobby area of a building being used for another purpose.

    Quick look around

This building at 4th Ave and E street dates to the 1930s. The exterior is attractive but there is not much to see inside, just a small historical display. A very short visit is sufficient.

It's NICE to see alot of downtown is still the same

When you look around after being gone 30 years it is nice to see that some things are still there. A lot of the buildings have been well taken care of and this is one of them.
