This truly a hidden gem. The museum is small but educational. Our host was extremely knowledgeable about Banneker and Douglas.
The museum is located on the main road in Annapolis, in the middle of a historic district, and is itself an old house. It mainly exhibits the history of black people in Maryland, mainly how black people lived before and after the Civil War, there are many physical exhibits, and some wax figures that simulate the life scene at the time.
In a historic district, it’s very nice.
The exterior doesn't look very eye-catching, the interior planning is good
