Due to the loose and fragile mountain, when the wind and rain or ice melt, it is easy to occur mudslides and landslides, resulting in traffic disruption; Even in the dry season, due to the crush of large cars, the road ruts are serious, the stones are all over, and the cars often wipe the bottom when passing by. If you are lucky, it takes an hour to walk the 14 kilometers in a good weather.

Passing the Tongmai Bridge, it is the most precipitous section of the Sichuan-Tibet line. It is known as the "death section" of the Pailongtian Risk. This is the most dangerous section of the Sichuan-Tibet line. Between Bomi and Nyingchi, the length is 14 kilometers. The road is only one car wide. During the rainy season, it often landslides or mudslides. In addition, the road rut is serious, the car often supports the bottom when passing, and it takes more than an hour to walk these 14 kilometers smoothly. It is the only way to go on the Sichuan-Tibet line. It is estimated that after the bridge and tunnel are built next year, the traffic situation will be greatly improved.
