Yigong Lake

Yigongco Lake is located in Yigong Township, Bomi County. The scenery is beautiful. There are glaciers, snow-capped mountains, beautiful wild flowers, cattle and sheep are free to eat grass on the meadow by the lake. It is beautiful and there is a tea farm not far from the lake.

When I went from Bomi to Yigong Township, I went around the beautiful Yigong Lake. The surrounding forests were dense, surrounded by clouds and mist throughout the year, the air was fresh and the environment was beautiful. The origin of Yigong Lake was because the Yigong Zangbu River was blocked, forming a natural choke lake. The lake is magnificent, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and glaciers, pine and cypress green under the snow-capped mountains, and densely planted. The lake is surging with water from the surrounding glaciers. In early June, the lake water along the artificially excavated channel began to fall, because a large amount of water in the reservoir area washed the original lake dam, after the water, Yigong Lake has become a smooth river, Yigong Lake is about to disappear.

Although it is winter, it is still beautiful! During the dry water period, the lake is dry, but the snow-capped mountains are still beautiful and worth coming! Today is 1️ 26th in 2020, the second day of the New Year, the people of the whole country are fighting the virus, and I hope the sun shines on everyone!

The road to Yigongwrong is about 24 kilometers along the Yigong Zangbushuo River by the Tongmai Bridge. Yigongco Lake is about 2,200 meters above sea level. Due to the influence of warm and humid air, it is the highest winter lake in China without freezing. The scenery is relatively monotonous. As it is said, it is a lake, but it is more like a wide river on the water. The Nianqing Tanggula Mountains in the north are well-known. The clouds are enigmatic.

Yigong is a lake. There are beautiful scenic spots on both sides of the lake, and you can see snow peaks and glaciers. Different seasons have different scenery, and the clear water of a lake shows people the beauty of the environment here.
