Mt. Helix Park

This was a beautiful place on the top of a hill with a huge amphitheater, a large Cross, informational placards about wildlife, and pretty landscaped small gardens. We came on a sunny and clear day and the unobstructed 360- degree views were spectacular from every angle. We were even able to see all the way to the ocean.

I grew up around this area and my parents would take us here for some fresh air to see the view of San Diego. It is really breathtaking and hidden gem. There are people who propose here. There are also some who even have their wedding ceremony here. It's really romantic.
